We were delighted to be part of PTI's CCI Training Day in Madrid this week, where we had the opportunity to present the finer points of precision laser drilling in pharmaceutical packaging for CCIT. A big thank you to PTI - Packaging Technologies & Inspection for the invitation, and to everyone who joined the session and shared insights throughout the day. Special recognition to Ben Randles, who delivered an engaging presentation on artificial defects in packaging, demonstrating how laser ablation can be used to create reliable positive controls for leak detection testing. Great discussions, valuable learnings, and a fantastic event all around. We look forward to continuing the conversation on advancing package integrity testing.

Research spotlight - We’re excited to see the VisiSize P15+ in the impressive peer‑reviewed article in Sustainability publication "Downwind Drift of Airblast Spray from Foliated Citrus Canopies: A Field Assessment for Mechanistic Modeling" This study leverages our advanced particle sizing system to capture information on the change of the droplet size spectrum with increasing downwind distance from an airblast sprayer in a commercial citrus orchard. Overall, the conclusion highlights the importance of understanding how spray behaves in real field conditions so that application methods can be improved—helping reduce waste, limit environmental impact, and make spraying more efficient and targeted. Congratulations to the authors on this important contribution to the field!
