Last week, Phaidon International was proud to support Edinburgh University Boat Club at the Henley Royal Regatta as the club's corporate sponsor.   University sport is about much more than competition. It develops resilience, teamwork, leadership and ambition – qualities that carry through into successful careers. That's why we're excited to support a club that gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves, build lasting connections and represent their university at one of the world's most iconic rowing events.   Also extending a big congratulations to our own Clara O'Doherty from Selby Jennings, an alumni of EUBC, who won the Wargrave Challenge Cup with Thames Rowing Club. A fantastic achievement and a brilliant way to round off the weekend.   We're looking forward to continuing our partnership with Edinburgh University Boat Club and supporting the next generation as they take their first steps into their careers.

Our offices have been celebrating Pride throughout the month, and we’ll be sharing a full wrap-up post soon.   In the meantime, we want to spotlight last week's Pride panel in our London office. A huge thank you to our colleagues who formed the panel and spoke so openly about their experiences, what Pride means to them, and why allyship matters so much at Phaidon.   Your honesty and vulnerability helped create many meaningful and important conversations, which will continue. We are so grateful to everyone who joined and contributed.

Since 2021, we’ve risen every year, from 9th to 7th to 6th to 4th, and now 3rd. 🏳️🌈 Our London office kicked off Pride Month in the best possible way this week. We had the privilege of welcoming Jess Clarke, a Lioness, trailblazer, and an incredibly powerful voice for resilience and authenticity. Her words were a reminder that representation matters, and her courage was absolutely contagious for the whole room.
