It is a responsibility to take up a banner! We are excited to share our experience working with Post Carbon Lab to unlock the mysteries of colours from algae. It has been a humbling experience to understand the amazing ways nature works around us. We are now in the second phase of the project, promoted by the Fashion, Textiles and Technology Institute (FTTI) at UAL and the British Council, to take this innovation towards the possibility of bulk dyeing using algae and natural resources working together. We’re also in the process of setting up a small sampling unit in London, so we can continue the experiments and sampling in the time to come. We are very positive about the results the future holds.
