This week, we partnered with Rocket Holiday Club to host five mornings of children’s activities at Deansgate Square, bringing families together in the heart of New Jackson. Held in the Sports Hall, the programme offered children a choice of Sports, Stage, and Solve sessions – designed to encourage teamwork, creativity, confidence, and active play. From sports and team games to performance-based activities and problem-solving challenges, the week created an engaging space for children to learn, explore, and connect. We’re pleased to see the gym at Manchester Youth Zone now complete and in active use by young people from across the city. With equipment donated to support the upgrade, the space now offers high-quality facilities designed to encourage wellbeing, confidence and fitness in a safe and welcoming environment. We are delighted to celebrate a fantastic milestone, as seven of our trainees have graduated from university following the successful completion of their higher education studies. We're proud to have hosted Crown Street Primary School's Sports Day this morning in our dedicated sports hall at Deansgate Square, New Jackson. Built and developed by Renaker, Crown Street Primary School opened in September 2024 as the first new city centre primary school in almost two decades, providing vital education infrastructure for local families in Manchester's growing city centre community.
