  • We're thrilled to see that Cofide has been acquired by Keyfactor, alongside a $1bn+ growth round led by Summit Partners. As AI agents proliferate across enterprise environments, proving what a workload or agent actually is has become one of the most urgent problems in security - static secrets and API keys simply weren't built for machine-speed, machine-scale trust. Just over 18 months ago, we backed Matthew and the Cofide team. Since then, they've worked relentlessly to realise their vision of bringing verifiable cryptographic trust to enterprise environments, with their unique platform that gives every workload and AI agent its own short-lived, cryptographically verified identity. This move is another step forward for that vision. Cofide's workload and AI agent identity layer will be integrated directly into Keyfactor's Trust Control Plane, bringing visibility, governance, and trust to the next generation of digital infrastructure. We're excited to watch Cofide take their next chapter. Congratulations to Matt and the team! Read the full announcement at the link in comments 📎

🚨 Seedcamp is growing! 🚨 We're looking for exceptional people to join the investment team at Seedcamp to help us find and support Europe's next legendary entrepreneurs. 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐭/𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 A 2-year program during which you'll be embedded in Seedcamp's investment team with an unusual level of autonomy. You can expect to: ▸ Source and analyze startups across the continent ▸ Build your own network of founders, operators and investors ▸ Wrangle legals, cap tables and preference stacks ▸ Attend, launch and run events in the startup ecosystem ▸ Be part of investment decisions, diligence and cross-portfolio support We're looking for 2-4 years of experience in a field that reflects a genuine interest in technology - and we're far more interested in hustle and demonstrable intellectual curiosity than top university degrees. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐭 This is a 9-month program for resourceful people to support us across the organisation and investment activity. You'll be on first-name terms with our phenomenal network of founders and deeply exposed to the way we think, work, and invest. You can expect to: ▸ Support our investment process with research and analysis ▸ Review inbound investment opportunities ▸ Source deals and support the partners on getting the most exciting opportunities over the line ▸ Help curate and organize investment-related events throughout the year We're looking for proactive problem-solvers with incredible attention to detail - people who've built a product or led on a project they can show off, and who spend their free time hacking and building with AI tools. Previous Seedcamp investment team members have founded funds like Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company, become Partners at funds like Point Nine, built businesses like Citymapper, and led teams at Meta. Both roles are based in London. Applications close 28th August 2026, and we're reviewing on a rolling basis, so the earlier you apply, the better. Link to apply in the comments!

  • It might be summer, but the London tech ecosystem hasn't slowed down - it's been a busy week on the Seedcamp calendar 🌱 🦾 We hosted Axiometa and Anthropic's hardware hackathon: a 48-hour sprint for builders working on physical AI. The entrants were insanely strong - huge congrats have to go to Vikkash and Afthab, who took first place with their teleoperated, gesture-controlled mobile robot. Thanks to Unicorn Mafia and Fatema for their support on the day! 🍽️ We also kicked off the first of an invite-only dinner series for investors across the ecosystem. Hosted by Tom, Sia, Felix and Will, this was a panel/keynote-free zone - just 15-20 investors talking through what they're really seeing in the market right now. We're planning on taking our investor dinner series to cities worldwide, so watch this space for future editions. cc Alexandra Charalambous

  • We’re thrilled to congratulate Fluidstack on their $830M Series A at a $7.5B valuation. Compute is one of the defining battlegrounds of our time. The companies that win it will define humanity’s future relationship with AI, deciding whether the technology ultimately constrains our freedom or expands it. Fluidstack is fast becoming one of the most consequential companies of our generation. They’re racing to become the fastest company on the planet at deploying hundreds of gigawatts of compute, and they already partner with some of the world’s leading AI players, including Anthropic, Google and Meta. The team works across the full infrastructure stack, from securing power and designing custom data centres to building and operating the compute capacity frontier labs need, all underpinned by the software, orchestration and operational systems required to make that infrastructure reliable and usable at scale. We were the team’s first backers in 2019, when the founders were finishing their undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford and had already demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial drive. We were immediately struck by their intellectual horsepower and the scale of their ambition. Years before the current AI supercycle, they already understood that access to compute would become an increasingly important constraint on technological progress. Seven years on, they’ve unequivocally been proven right. Sia Houchangnia, Partner at Seedcamp, comments: “We feel incredibly privileged to have backed Fluidstack from day one. Gary, Jamie and César showed extraordinary resilience through the years before the market fully arrived, and when the AI boom began, they were uniquely positioned to seize the opportunity. They have since assembled one of the strongest teams in the industry and executed at a world-class level in one of the most complex and competitive markets of our time. This has been incredibly inspiring to witness.” Congratulations Gary, Jamie, César M. and the entire Fluidstack team. We couldn’t be prouder to have been there from the start.

  • When you lose a loved one, admin should be the last thing on your mind. Instead, millions of families are handed a second job at the worst possible moment: probate. This incredibly convoluted process usually falls to a grieving spouse or child with no legal training, left to navigate courts, banks, insurers and tax authorities almost entirely alone. It's one of the last major life processes technology has barely touched. EverSettled are building to ensure that no family has to navigate this alone. We're proud to participate in their $5M Seed round, led by Emergence Capital, alongside Bridge Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Entrepreneurs First and Transpose Platform, and angels including Paul Copplestone, Henry Irish, Barney Hussey-Yeo, Charles Jolley and Chris Mairs CBE. For CEO Arum Kempster, this is personal. Settling her father's estate took 18 months and 900 hours of admin - and nearly cost her the family home. Trust earned in a moment of crisis is extraordinarily durable. That's what Arum, Jacob and the whole EverSettled team are building. We couldn't be prouder to back them. cc Tom Wilson Will Bennett

  • The question every investor is asking right now: what's actually defensible in the age of AI? At this year's investor event, Partner Hilary Howe put it to 9fin co-founder Huss E. in the bluntest way possible. OpenAI has more capital and more engineers. Aren't they bound to win? Huss doesn't think so. It comes down to data competitors can't get their hands on. 9fin has 23 years of debt market issuance history - not just the details of the deals themselves, but everything from private data room activity to marketing materials. Huss's advice? "Look for where there's hard to access, hard to process, hard to clean data. The next set of winners in the AI era may be in unconventional places."

  • Europe's digital economy runs on payment rails it doesn't own. Most European payments run on rails owned by US card schemes and big tech wallets. For merchants, this means that they must pay whatever fees those networks set, leaving Europe with little control over the infrastructure its economy depends on. Nopan is here to change that. Today, we're proud to support their €7.2M raise, with the most recent round led by Newion, alongside follow-on support from Crane Venture Partners and fintech and payment angel investors. Nopan is building foundational infrastructure for account and wallet payments - that's money moving straight from a customer's bank account or wallet, with no card network in between. They're a real alternative that's quickly gaining traction. Wero, Europe's account-to-account wallet, has passed 50 million users since launching in mid-2024. For merchants, the benefits of account-to-wallet payments are obvious: lower fees, and less reliance on intermediaries. But it will only gain traction if they're as reliable as card payments. This is where Nopan comes in. Nopan's platform sits between a business and its payment methods, routing each transaction down the most reliable path, and catching failures before they cost a sale. Founders Konstantin Surkov and Nick Ryabov led payments at Netflix, where they spent years making payment methods work at enormous scale. There are few better teams placed to drive forward this enormous shift. Congrats to Konstantin, Nick and the team! ❤️ 🌱

  • An AI agent might be your next hire. Are your systems ready for them? External workers - contractors, freelancers, consultants - already make up 30–50% of enterprise labour, commanding over $6.8 trillion in annual spend. Now, the rise of AI agents are adding a new layer of complexity legacy Vendor Management Systems weren't built to handle. That's why we're excited to lead Sherpa's $2.2m round, alongside DN Capital, Activant Capital, Brighteye and a group of operator angels. Founded in Munich by Tristan Deschler, Tim Altpeter and Maximilian Lang, Sherpa is the AI operating system for the external workforce: one platform for requesting, governing, delivering and measuring work, whether it's done by a person or an agent. They're already working with Fortune 500 enterprises across the EU, UK and US. As Tristan puts it: "Workforce management is evolving into work orchestration - and Sherpa is building the infrastructure to power that transition." Excited to share our latest investment at Seedcamp - We are incredibly proud to back Molly Gilmartin from day one on her journey building Resolyst. I first met Molly properly at the HLTH Europe conference in Amsterdam last year. Even as a generalist investor, we've had the privilege to work with some truly amazing founders building in the health space - but Molly still stood out immediately. I was blown away by her passion, her incredibly insightful takes on the healthtech space, and how deeply networked she was. So, when she messaged me earlier this year to say she was doing her own thing, backing her was an absolute no-brainer for me. Thankfully, our team fully agreed and we all came away thinking she was the epitome of "founder-market fit". Molly is a true force of nature and just awesome to work with. The whole Seedcamp team is thrilled to be part of this journey from day one. Pleasure to co-lead alongside friends Johannes Blaschke and Monik Pham. Check out the full announcement blog post below 👇
