The Print Show is the only exhibition that is entirely dedicated to the UK print market, allowing visitors to see technology from right across the print spectrum. The Print Show 2026 will take place at the NEC (Hall 1) in Birmingham from September 29 September to 1 October - once again co-located with The Sign Show - with a wide range of specialist exhibitors scheduled to attend and showcase new solutions. Since staging our inaugural event back in 2015, the core ethos of The Print Show has been to provide the tools and knowledge visitors need to succeed in the modern market. This remains the primary aim for The Print Show, with the event designed to help visitors expand and grow their businesses.

The Print Show is a good place to look at finishing equipment if you are thinking seriously about diversification. We will be there again in 2026. Same stand as last year. P1, opposite Fujifilm, to the left of the entrance. The theme this year is diversification, and I think that is exactly where a lot of printers are at. Standard print still matters, of course it does. But more businesses are now looking at what else they can offer. Photo books. Case making. Luxury boxes. Paper over board. Cartons and folders. More finishing brought in house. The important part is not just buying another machine. It is buying the right machine for the work you actually have, and the work you want to win. I have been in print finishing for over 30 years, and I have seen what happens when people buy kit that does not suit their business. It becomes an expensive problem on the floor.
