Last Thursday, ACIERTA & Shop Drop Daily brought Retail. Rethought. to life.
What started as a shared conversation between Carla Sobrini and myself about creating a different kind of industry gathering became an afternoon of honest discussion, fresh perspectives and meaningful connections between some of the brightest minds in retail, brand experience and creative.
The response exceeded anything either of us expected. Registrations far surpassed the capacity of the venue, reinforcing something we've both felt for a while...
Our industry is looking for more spaces where people can come together, exchange ideas openly and challenge the way we think about the future of physical retail.
A huge thank you to Carla for sharing the vision from day one and to the entire Acierta team for being such incredible partners in bringing Retail. Rethought. to life. This was a genuine collaboration from the outset, and the event is a reflection of what can happen when different perspectives come together around a shared ambition.
Thank you also to our brilliant speakers, Joseph Taylor, Faye Mcleod, James Clarges and Charlie Gatsky Sinclair. Each brought a unique perspective, creating an afternoon that was insightful, challenging and refreshingly honest.
One idea kept surfacing throughout the discussions. The best brands don't just build activations. They build worlds. The brands creating the greatest impact aren't thinking about stores, campaigns or experiences in isolation. They're creating connected brand ecosystems, where every touchpoint contributes to a single narrative and physical retail becomes the tangible home of the brand.
Customers don't experience channels. They experience one brand. And that's perhaps the biggest opportunity facing our industry today.
To everyone who joined us, contributed to the discussions and helped shape the conversation, THANKYOU. Your openness, curiosity and willingness to share ideas made the afternoon what it was.
This was the first chapter of Retail. Rethought. We're excited about where the conversation goes next.
