Why staffing flexibility matters: EHCP funding can move, permanent salaries can’t. When a pupil with an EHCP moves, their top-up funding usually follows, but a permanent staff member’s salary doesn’t. With a permanent hire, the salary cost stays, even if the funding doesn’t. With agency staff, you can: ✅ Scale staffing down if a pupil leaves…and back up if another arrives ✅ Use temp-to-perm, our most popular option, to keep great staff once you already know they’re the right fit ✅ Avoid committing too early to someone unproven For schools, that’s financial flexibility. Delighted to share a record month at Vero. We’ve partnered with 3 new recruitment businesses, all of which came to us with similar issues around outbound, email deliverability, and a lack of consistency in their BD. All 3 are now fully implemented, with the infrastructure live, email copy reviewed, and LinkedIn automation running alongside email as part of a multichannel outbound approach. The focus right now is getting the technical foundations right so their outreach works properly and scales without burning domains or relying on manual effort.

New full-stack portfolio piece for any prospective employers to have a look through below (or any developer friends to give some feedback on!) I wanted to demonstrate some common skills and practices built from the ground up when developing for e-commerce sites, based on the Inspected webstore (where half of my wardrobe is from) here's a brief rundown of the features: - React based architecture, uses router for multipage functionality + rendering selected pages when needed. - Products database run on a Postgres backend via Supabase, allows for super easy and secure updating on products & music data. - Functional API calls to the call the data on Supabase rather than hard coded arrays in the project. - Fully functional calculations and cart logic for all products, with a checkout page to finish orders. - Other misc frontend features such as: currency switching, login, discount codes, popups and modals. In a market where many hiring plans have been cautious, the steady rise in job flow across both contract and permanent is a strong signal.
