ADAS, as a novel solution, is one of the most significant challenges that traffic management will face in the near future It has far-reaching implications, such as the fact that, although it will increase collision avoidance and enable us to move swiftly toward automotive trains, it will also improve railway safety. It has several applications, including in drones and aviation. Autonomous cars and ADAS employ sensors like lidar, GPS, radar, and stereo cameras, making forward collision warning (FCW) for ADAS popular. Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) such as motorcycles, motorbikes, and Personal Mobility Systems (PMSs)often only utilize a monocular camera on their smartphones or dashboard cameras for safety and navigation, making it hard to get to these sensors. As a result, this paper presents a monocular camera-based VRU FCWs. Without sensor fusion, FCW velocity, collision-time and distance estimates are noisy. The real-time use of SVM and Faster R-CNN vehicle identification algorithms is limited. This work uses the You Only Look Once version 4 (YoloV4) vehicle recognition technique, which uses a stacked Kalman filter to forecast and stabilize velocity, collision-time and distance on monocular camera platforms.
