Another #NYTechWeek in the books. AI was part of nearly every conversation this week, but what stood out most was the focus on what comes next. How companies adapt to change. How leaders navigate uncertainty. How organizations create the conditions for teams to do their best work. Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to reconnect with clients and partners, meet founders and investors, and exchange perspectives with technology leaders from across the ecosystem. One thing became clear: while the pace of innovation continues to accelerate, success is still driven by strong teams, thoughtful leadership, and meaningful connections. A great week of conversations, perspectives, and connections.

One of the most interesting events I attended during #NYTechWeek was a discussion on how AI is reshaping the way we work, communicate, and make decisions as teams organize by Tightknit , Slack and Amplitude The conversation went beyond the technology itself and focused on something equally important: context, relationships, and community. A theme that really resonated with me was that while AI will continue to automate tasks and increase productivity, building meaningful businesses will still be about people and the communities we create around them. One audience question sparked a particularly interesting discussion: As technology advances, should we be concerned that AI agents will eventually represent us and answer on our behalf? I loved Beth Saunders response: What’s the point of being part of a community if you’re not actually participating in it? That idea stuck with me. Even if technology becomes capable of speaking, responding, and acting for us, choosing to outsource our participation means choosing not to truly belong. Communities create value because of authentic human interaction, shared experiences, and genuine contributions, not because of perfectly optimized responses. AI will undoubtedly change how we work. But the importance of showing up, engaging with others, and being an active member of a community may become even more valuable in the years ahead. Congratulations to all the panelists for such a thoughtful discussion, and a special shoutout to Zach Hawtof for doing an outstanding job as moderator. The conversation was engaging, insightful, and left the audience with plenty to think about.

A few days ago, we opened the doors of Thaloz House for #TechyxelDía. Now, we’re sharing a bit more about what that experience looked like from the inside, the conversations, the questions, and why initiatives like this matter so much to us. In this blog post, our Chief Happiness Officer, Carla Brovetto, shares her perspective on why creating spaces like these can have a lasting impact on the future of the tech ecosystem. Our CEO, Sebastian Martinez, will be in the US from May 30 to June 8, attending two major industry events: #NYTechWeek in New York and #AICPAEngage #Engage26 in Las Vegas 🚀 It’ll be a great opportunity to connect with founders, business leaders, and teams exploring the future of AI, technology, talent, and global workforce strategies. At Thaloz, we’re always looking to build meaningful partnerships and help companies scale high-performing teams with top LATAM talent. If you’ll be attending either event, let’s connect.

We opened our doors this week as part of #Techyxeldia An initiative by Cuti - Cámara Uruguaya de Tecnologías de la Información that connects young women with the tech industry through real, first-hand experience. At Thaloz, we’re committed to the growth of the tech ecosystem. Supporting initiatives like this reminds us that building strong teams is not only about what happens today, but also about how we support and inspire what comes next. That’s why we welcomed young women into Thaloz House: to share how we build and scale engineering teams across LATAM, how we collaborate with U.S. companies, and what working in tech actually looks like today. Because opening the door to the industry, even for a day, can shape how someone sees their future 💜

For over three years, Thaloz has been part of “Techy por el día” an initiative from Cuti - Chamber of Uruguayan IT Companies where young women spend a day inside tech companies. We’ve seen that one day of exposure can ignite a career. By opening our doors, we help create the diverse talent pipeline that will shape the tech landscape. Investing in these beginnings means investing in tomorrow’s innovation, leadership, and equity. #TechyxElDía #Thaloz #FutureInTech

Why LATAM is becoming a key region for building high-performing teams At Enterprise Connect, one theme kept coming up across conversations: Companies are scaling globally, but doing it in a more intentional, connected way. And LATAM is playing a big role in that shift. ❗️Not just because of: → Strong technical talent → Time zone alignment with the U.S. → Cultural compatibility for real-time collaboration ✅ But because it enables something bigger: → Teams that feel integrated. → Collaboration that happens in real time. → And structures that actually scale. At Thaloz, this is exactly the model we’ve been building; and it’s exciting to see how aligned it is with where the market is heading. We shared our main takeaways (and what this means for companies today) in our latest blog written by Sebastian Martinez ↓ https://lnkd.in/dGNdpV8J

HumanX this week in San Francisco was a great space to connect around what’s next for AI and the future of work. Our Chief Recruitment Officer, Tania Berjis, was there, engaging in conversations around how companies are rethinking talent, team structures, and scaling in this new landscape. At Thaloz, we see this shift every day. As AI continues to evolve, building high-performing teams is no longer just about hiring; it’s about designing the right combination of global talent, operating models, and technology. The future of work is already here. And it’s being built at the intersection of AI and people. #HumanX #AI #FutureOfWork #TechTalent #LATAMTalent
