Corel on Thursday introduced The Painter Factory.com, a new Web site that serves as an online community for users of Corel's popular Painter application.
Painter is Corel's Mac and Windows-compatible creative software for drawing, painting and illustrating using tools that simulate natural media such as charcoal, pencils, paints and brushes, canvas, paper, vellum and other materials.
The Painter Factory.com has been created as a resource for artists, designers, photographers and others to learn more about Painter and to share tips and techniques with each other, and get information from the Painter development team. Artwork can be shared, for example, and community news and discussions are posted. Corel also offers downloadable content in the Painter Resources area.
