  • Apple introduces new iMacs

    Apple kicked off the week with an update to the iMac, boosting the processor and memory on its consumer desktop line. The iMac now runs on a Core 2 Duo chip with clock speeds of 2.4GHz, 2.66GHz, and 2.8GHz, depending on configuration. Two of the three iMac configurations now ship with 2GB of memory, up from 1GB in the previous models.
