Microsoft to bring back Visual Basic in Office

Microsoft on Tuesday announced it would restore support for Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to Microsoft Office for Mac, a direct result of complaints from users about the removal of the suite's cross-platform automation functionality. Rob Griffiths thinks the move shows Microsoft learned a basic lesson about listening to users. Microsoft also released Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Office 2008, designed to add stability, security, and performance enhancements.
