Remove recommended content from Home

In order to improve your recommendations and see more videos that are relevant to your interests, you can remove recommended content that you are not interested in from your Home.

If you aren't able to follow these instructions, you are likely using the old version of YouTube. If you're using a newer browser, update to the current version of YouTube.

The following recommended content can be removed from the Home page on your computer:

  • Videos

  • Channels

  • Sections

  • Playlists

You can also remove recommended videos from the Watch Next page on your computer.

Remove recommended video

  1. Hover over the recommended video you'd like to remove.

  2. Select the menu  next to its title.

  3. Select Not interested to remove the video from your feed.

Clear “Not interested” feedback

Your “Not Interested” feedback may be used to tune your recommendations. To clear all of the “Not interested” feedback you’ve submitted:

  1. Go to My Activity. You might need to sign in to your Google Account.

  2. On the "My Activity" banner at the top of the page, choose More  then Other Google activity.

  3. Select "Not interested" feedback, then Delete feedback.
