S3 Intelligence-Tiering is a new Amazon S3 storage class and the first cloud storage class to automatically optimize costs by tiering data between two access tiers: one optimized for frequent access that is priced the same as S3 Standard storage, and the other designed for infrequent access that is priced the same as S3 Standard-Infrequent Access storage.
