We’re about to wrap up this week’s . Great discussion y’all, and if you want to keep it going, drop me a line . Also, I’ll be chatting more about Apple and Macs on my LinkedIn Live video airing next Wednesday, July 24. I’m much more witty in person I promise.

But the 13-inch MBPro is kind of a meh upgrade. The rumored 16-inch Pro with a NEW KEYBOARD is the one I'm waiting for.

The MacBook buying experience is simpler with just two lines: the Air and the Pro.

We’ve reached the fifth and final question and it's a natural closer: Apple just overhauled its low-end notebook models. What affect will that have on the MacBook lineup?

It comes down to expandability again. Pros, programmers, and tinkerers all want to be able to grab a screwdriver and upgrade their machine and it's extremely hard to do that with a Mac.

OK ready for Q4? MacBook Pros used to be the favorite among programmers, but not so much these days. What changed?

OK onto Q3: What do Macs offer enterprise users that other systems don’t?

Final thought: My biggest problem with the Touch Bar is that it doesn't seem to actually solve a problem. It's a feature for the sake of a feature.

Time for Q2 (but I'm happy to keep dumping on the Touch Bar too): Does the price on the new Mac Pro (starting at $5,999) go too far? Who will buy it?

I forgot the hashtag ALREADY: I've been using Macs for as long as I've been using computers, and I think the biggest issue these days is expandability. Apple's base pricing is mostly competitive, but you need to spend a bundle to max out memory and storage.
