Horrible, invasive, clunky

    What a horrible, clunky, and invasive plugin. Every wp-admin page refresh I get an admin notice that takes up half my screen and after a few seconds gets smaller with a weird animation. To get this notice gone, I have to opt in and share my data???? This is what it says:

    OPT-IN to get email notifications for security & feature updates and occasional offers. If you OPT-IN you will additionally get:

    • Automatic removal of the small notice which is shown on the iframe
    • Boxes in the administration remembers their state
    • Additional sections on the help tab
    • Exclusive coupons

    Isn’t this all against the WP.org policy? Stop irritating users just for them to share their data and for you to send marketing messages!!!

    the animation will be removed in the next version.

    Before you blame me to force users to get their data! No single marketing messages has been sent so far! Check the optin screen! You can remove any optional opt-ins! The required ones are actually the plugin-version, the sdk version So I know which versions are installed. Additional it is nice to know which version of WordPress and php my users use.
    I actually use this information for my testing. So I know which WordPress and php versions I have to test! And I think this is very important.

    For the ones that accept to get emails I think it is not a bad thing that I’m able to inform there if there is an important security issue.

    About the wp policy. I do not disable any feature or have any limitation! This is not allowed by wp! All the things in the list do not limit anything. They just make small things a little bit more convenient and do not restrict any of the features.
