So the ACF Field has been set to appear on this page right?
(In the field group’s settings under Location, what’s the setting?)
Yes. Page is = to Home, as it is on my Home Page.
Is it because it is a page? It will only work if it is on a post, the post with the ACF event field?

Nah it should work normally on a page. Hmm this is weird.
Could you give me a printscreen of all the relevant admin pages? (ACF Field, this plugin’s settings page and your homepage’s admin area with the field showing)
