    With upgrade to WP 6.9, the function get_thumbnail() throws a fatal error. I had to disable the plugin.

  • Other than deactivating the plugin, a workaround is to disable thumbnails from displaying in the widget’s settings.

    Kindly disable thumbnail like @mtg169 has mentioned.

    There seems to be a change in SimplePie API to fetch thumbnails. I’m checking this.

    The crash issue is RESOLVED in the latest version v5.4 of the plugin. Please update the plugin to this version.
