In reply to: [Bold Page Builder] On-page Custom CSS Not WorkingI would REALLY appreciate it if someone from Bold Builder could follow up on this.
This issue is occurring on all of my Bold Builder sites now. The it seems that any custom CSS code with “!important” tags will NOT override an “!important” tag on any other style sheets. In certain situations, those “!important” tags on style sheets are absolutely necessary, so while I can find workarounds in some cases, that won’t always be true.
It seems that there may have been a bug introduced at some point that deprioritized the hierarchy of the style sheets. The custom style sheet on the page should have priority over all other style sheets, just like inline styles, for all of the obvious reasons.

In reply to: [Bold Page Builder] On-page Custom CSS Not WorkingI have not heard anything back. I shifted my custom CSS to my sitewide plugin, though it’s not what I wanted to do. This is the only site I’m having this problem with, so it might be a plugin conflict that I haven’t identified. At least at this time, I just found this workaround and I’m moving on.
Just FYI, this issue means that our site cannot process payments – at least, not all of them – which means we are losing sales. Please respond asap. Thanks!

In reply to: [Reviews and Rating – Google Reviews] Date for retrieved reviews is wrongNoah: I have been waiting for an update to fix this issue. I’ve used the plugin for a number of things, but we cannot successfully implement until this date issue has been solved. To be clear on what the issue is:
- All newly synced reviews (since the original import and set-up) have the correct date
- The original imported reviews do NOT have the correct dates assigned to them, and they tend to be bulked into specific dates with the date in italics (04/08/2025, 03/26/2025, 03/09/2025, 02/06/2025, 01/07/2025, 12/07/2024, 11/07/2024, 10/07/2024, 09/07/2024, 08/07/2024, 06/27/2024, etc.) – as you can see, patterns come and go

In reply to: [Reviews and Rating – Google Reviews] Date for retrieved reviews is wrongOkay – I just found that when I did expand them, the full review text was imported, and when I didn’t, there were many instances of static “… More” content. And when I looked in the HTML code, I found the same thing.
Let me know when this new release is done, and we’ll try again.

In reply to: [Reviews and Rating – Google Reviews] Date for retrieved reviews is wrongGreat! I am not going to continue to send HTML in text files, as I don’t know what the time frame for the release is, and by then the code will be outdated.
Here’s the link to get the latest, whenever you’re ready: https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJYVO1h3ty04kRkTCgl-8eErg
NOTE: I did have to go through every single review and expand the “… More” tags in order to import that full review text.
If I need to do it instead, just let me know when the update is done, send me instructions, and I will handle it.

In reply to: [Bold Page Builder] Background Images load SLOWLYIndeed, when I turned off “lazy load,” it loads super fast. I find it fascinating that the lazy load functionality is getting “stuck” – a bit too lazy! Guess I’ll just turn that feature off on all the ones that matter.

In reply to: [Bold Page Builder] Background Images load SLOWLYI believe I figured out what is happening.
The bold builder is somehow injecting another background image into the code AFTER the selected background image. You can see it clearly in the code, and I had to overwrite it with CSS. Once I did that, it displayed INSTANTLY, with zero lag time. Occasionally, it won’t even load at all, like it’s permanently overwritten by this “blank.gif” file.

This will be a terrible pain to go through the entire site and hard-code the bg images with CSS. Please take a look at this and see what could be causing this. I have “lazy load” turned on for this section – is that causing it? If so, I don’t understand why it would get stuck like this.

In reply to: [Bold Page Builder] Bold Builder 5.3.3 not displaying content in editor5.3.4 fixed the error. Thank you!
Will do, thank you so much!
Yes, I just tested an excerpt length of “25” and that is exactly what happened, as now they are all shorter and the link shows up. Is there a way to guarantee the full review text gets imported? Also, if I have to re-import, what’s the best way to do that?
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I have cleared the page cache, I have cleared the Sucuri firewall cache, and I have cleared the cache on your plugin advanced tab. I’m actually thinking that it imported the “… More” during the original import I did using your instructions, because even that is not a link.

In reply to: [Bold Page Builder] Bold Builder injecting extra codeSo I’m beginning to suspect that this is Open AI, which I have not enabled. Here are screenshots from this site and another site with Bold Builder and Kadence.

In reply to: [Bold Page Builder] Bold Builder injecting extra codeThanks for reaching back out. I did some further plugin testing, and this time, the extra code injection is isolated to portfolio posts (generated via the RadiusTheme plugin). However, the weird “data-content” field is still filled with the complete underlying content, even when all of the other plugins are turned off. It doesn’t happen on any other Kadence / Bold Builder site that I work on.
I’ll set you up with site admin credentials and FTP access shortly.
