$5 MILLION FACELIFT

Like the rare botoxed woman in Big D, One McKinney Plaza is having work done. Specifically, a $5 million expansion/renovation, starting Feb. 1.
 
Owned by Dallas-based Gaedeke Group, construction on the 257k SF Class A building is expected to take eight months. BOKA Powell is the architect of record; GC is Austin Commercial. Gaedeke is also seeking LEED EB certification. The 78% occupied building's largest contiguous block of available space is 37k SF, and Gaedeke VP Belinda Dabliz is actively marketing the space. The Weitzman Group’s Earl Harris and Marc Marrocco are handling retail leasing. Gaedeke prez Glenn Lickstein says the move is designed to meet increased retail demand on McKinney Avenue.
