"I have had conversations with Alli," he said of his brother Jesse McBee's wife. "And I love her to death as well. She's a sister to me and has been since high school. Literally since sophomore year of high school, she's been a sister to me."

"I do spend more time with Cole and Kacie," Steven admitted, attributing that to the fact they all live on the McBee family farm. "Alli's seeing me post Blair and Kacie on social media, or she's seeing how much time I spend with them. And there's a little bit of hurt there. Obviously, her and Jesse were not in the best place from a marriage standpoint, so that contributes to it. There's a lot going on behind the scenes that added to why she felt that way and why she said that."

According to Steven, he and Alli have since moved on from the drama. "We are completely good at this point," he added. "There is no animosity whatsoever."

Steven Jr. went on to recount how he and his brother Cole were hunting from a deer stand when the rumors first came to light.
"A deer stand gets pretty tight, so we were on this like little bitty bench," he recalled. "Cole's a big old boy, and I'm not very small either, so we're basically sitting on each other's laps and having this conversation about the rumors that were started by Alli."
As for what they discussed, Steven continued, "We're like, 'Uh, obviously it's not even close to being a hint of truth. And we know that Alli's saying this out of a place of hurt and feeling a bit jealous.' So, it didn't have anything to affect us as brothers, for sure."

Steven declared that he would no longer speak to Kacie without Cole present, but Allie disagreed with that tactic, opining that they should keep their issues between the two of them.
After unpacking the rumors Alli started about him and Kacie in The McBee Dynasty's July 27 episode, Allie responded, "It's a pretty bold statement to make. Like, where there's smoke, there's fire. Where the f--k did that come from?" Still, Steven maintained, "There is absolutely not one single thing that would be inappropriate between Kacie and I. Never has been, never will be. And now, this makes it f--kin' weird."
Allie could at least agree on the latter point. "The fact that you can't have a conversation with your sister-in-law face to face, and you're gonna be business partners with her, that's f--king weird, I'm just gonna be honest," she told him. "That's weird without the context, and the context is even f--king weirder. Like, it's all f--kin' weird. And the fact that you and Kacie never even talked about it? Even weirder."
Following some more tense back and forth on the matter, a "really confused" Allie ultimately suggested that they "just let this sit for a second." In a confessional, Steven Jr. remarked, "Now, Allie and I are fighting. She looks really pissed off. I am scared to death I'm losing the person that I love."
