Kelli Potter is a cookbook author, celebrity chef, TV personality and restaurateur known for her vibrant approach to Southern comfort food with a modern twist.

Born in Randallstown, Md., (a suburb of Baltimore), Kelli developed an early passion for both food and fashion. She moved to Atlanta in 2003 to pursue a degree and career in fashion merchandising and design but soon followed a deeper calling — culinary entrepreneurship. In 2016, after quite literally manifesting it on her vision board, she launched Nana’s Chicken & Waffles.

Nana’s quickly gained a loyal following for its signature waffles and elevated takes on classic comfort dishes.

Known as the self-proclaimed “Queen of Waffles,” Kelli has appeared on “Good Morning America,” “Live with Kelly and Mark,” Hallmark Channel and OWN. She has also competed on Food Network’s “Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge” and “Guy’s Grocery Games,” further solidifying her presence in culinary television.

Beyond the kitchen, Kelli is deeply committed to philanthropy. She serves as a culinary partner and ambassador for Meals on Wheels Atlanta, supporting seniors facing hunger and social isolation. For over nine years, she has partnered with Elks Aidmore to provide meals for youth and families in crisis, and she actively supports the OI Foundation, the leading national organization for individuals living with osteogenesis imperfecta.

When she’s not working, Kelli enjoys working out (especially yoga and Pilates), cooking with her four daughters, shopping and traveling. A recently divorced mom, she proudly balances motherhood, entrepreneurship and philanthropy while continuing to build her culinary brand. She describes herself as an outgoing, driven, passionate social butterfly and dreamer – qualities that continue to fuel her growing culinary empire.
