  • Meet Shareda, Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. Shareda has been with us since November 2025. She shares that she has always loved providing care as a nurse and NP and has been in the field for many years, but palliative care has become a new passion. One of the most meaningful aspects of her experience at Agape Care has been the support she has received from her clinical leader. Coming from a military background, she wasn’t used to that level of consistent, direct support. Strong leadership and ongoing support have created a space for her to grow, develop, and truly step into the palliative care specialty. She is grateful to be part of a team that values growth, support, and meaningful patient care. Outside of work, Shareda enjoys yard work and working out. One thing that might surprise people is that she also does armed security work—which she loves! Thank you for your Service, Shareda!

  • We'd like to share a heartfelt message from Sherry, wife of our patient Jerry. Moments like this are why our teams do what they do. It’s more than care—it’s being there when it matters most. "From our first encounter with this hospice organization we knew these people were going to be family. Our family and especially me were impressed with the services. Promptness, willingness to address any issues that I did not understand during his time with them. His personal caregivers who cared for his personal hygiene were always kind & handled him with dignity even when he was resistant."

  • Meet Anna, Nurse Practitioner. Anna has been a valued member of the palliative care team for the past two years. Her “why” has always been rooted in empathy and connection. She strives to ensure that both patients and families feel seen, heard, and supported, drawing from her own personal experience of being the worried family member. Those experiences have deeply shaped her heart for this work and serve as a daily reminder of how important it is for individuals to feel supported and never alone during difficult times. She believes this is one of the greatest values palliative care brings. When she is not working, Anna enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and making grapevine wreaths.
