Every successful renovation starts long before the first wall is opened. One of the biggest challenges in multifamily renovation isn't the construction itself. It's creating a clear, documented understanding of existing conditions before work begins. At Alcorn Construction, we use 360-degree camera technology to capture every unit before renovations start, creating a visual record that helps: • Improve transparency • Reduce disputes • Protect clients and project teams • Keep everyone working from the same source of truth It's a simple use of technology that leads to better communication, fewer surprises, and more confident decision-making throughout the project. Read how 360-degree reality capture is helping improve multifamily renovations in our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/gjKZ-K27

For 250 years, America has been built by people who turn vision into reality. From the roads and bridges that connect our communities to the manufacturing facilities, healthcare campuses, distribution centers, and workplaces that power our economy, the construction industry has helped shape the nation every step of the way. While the tools and technology have evolved, one thing hasn't changed: great projects are built by great people. As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, we're proud to continue that legacy by building spaces that help businesses grow and communities thrive. https://lnkd.in/gire-9cW

This summer, Alcorn Construction is proud to welcome five interns to our Colorado and Arizona offices. Charlie Morrissey and Cedar Bailey from Colorado State University are working with our Colorado team, while Bennett Dupilka, Lucas Roland, and Maurizio Howard from Arizona State University are supporting our Arizona team. Over the coming months, these interns will gain hands-on experience across both Preconstruction and Operations, working alongside our teams to learn estimating, budgeting, scheduling, project coordination, field operations, and the many moving parts that bring successful projects to life. At Alcorn, we believe the best way to develop construction professionals is through real-world experience, mentorship, and exposure to every stage of the building process. We're excited to help these students grow their skills, expand their industry knowledge, and gain valuable insight into commercial construction. Please join us in welcoming Charlie, Cedar, Bennett, Lucas, and Maurizio to the Alcorn team.

Alcorn Construction is proud to support Brian Dietz from Evergreen Devco as he prepares for the Alzheimer’s Association Ride to End ALZ on June 6. Brian will ride 75 miles in honor of his father, Vic, who lost his battle with Alzheimer’s disease in 2023. To make the ride even more meaningful, Brian will be riding the same bike his father rode during his final Pan-Mass Challenge fundraiser ride. Alzheimer’s impacts millions of families, and continued research funding is essential in the search for better treatments and a cure. We’re honored to support Brian’s fundraising efforts and encourage our friends, families, and community to join us. Every donation helps move research forward. Innovation in construction doesn’t always come from sweeping changes — it often comes from rethinking the details. Our latest blog highlights how prefabricated soffits are helping accelerate the schedule of a multifamily project Alcorn is working on, but the real story is bigger than a single solution. It’s about the creativity to challenge traditional methods, the partnerships that make new approaches possible, and the leadership required to bring it all together in the field. When teams collaborate early, lean into innovation, and stay focused on outcomes, efficiency and quality don’t have to be tradeoffs — they become the standard. https://lnkd.in/gFGkD99M #Construction #Multifamily #Innovation #Leadership #Partnership
