Exciting things are happening on the east side! Last week, County Executive Klausmeier joined federal, state, and local officials and advocates to break ground on Tradepoint Atlantic and Terminal Investment Limited's new Sparrows Point Container Terminal. The terminal's on-dock rail facility and proximity to major East Coast markets will dramatically expand Baltimore's competitiveness as a global logistics hub while creating thousands of new jobs (an estimated 8,000) and long-term economic opportunities for residents. Our partnership with Tradepoint Atlantic continues to keep our region’s shipping industry among the best in the world. Learn more about the project: https://www.spctmd.com/
