Not necessarily. ➡️ Swipe to explore this week's focus: The Reality of Progress in Therapy Research consistently shows that meaningful progress in therapy often involves periods of discomfort. Healing isn't measured by one breakthrough or one difficult session. It's shaped by consistent efforts over time. If we expect to feel relief after every session, we may mistake discomfort for failure. But discomfort isn't always a sign something is wrong. It can be a sign that meaningful change is taking place.
