Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio

For the third year in a row, Parker Hannifin made an impact in our Clubs as more than 30 team members spent the day with members at our Broadway Club, creating an afternoon filled with fun, connection, and service. Before spending time with our members, the team assembled backpacks filled with snacks. Then they jumped right into the activities, playing games and basketball, keeping the bounce house obstacle course running, and sharing a meal with the kids. Partnerships like this go far beyond a single day of volunteering. Parker Hannifin's continued generosity and commitment to our mission help ensure young people have access to safe, supportive spaces, caring mentors, and opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. "The day was a huge success, and the kids are still talking about it!" We couldn't ask for a better measure of success. Thank you to BDO USA for sponsoring and volunteering at a Summer Field Day for our AB Hart Club members. BDO employees spent the day leading relay races, team challenges, games, crafts, and other activities that kept our members active, engaged, and smiling throughout the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who made the 29th annual Taco Bell Charity Golf Classic, supported by 7 Brew, a tremendous success. Thank you to everyone who made Race for Kids 2026 a success. On Saturday, more than 300 runners, walkers and volunteers gathered at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio. Together, participants, sponsors, donors and volunteers helped raise nearly $120,000 for the young people we serve across Northeast Ohio. These funds help ensure Club members have access to caring mentors, safe places to belong, healthy meals, academic support and opportunities to learn, grow and thrive. Last week, our Sr. Director of Support Services, Maronika Franklin, and Food Service Compliance Manager, Aamina Sharkey, joined WKYC Studios to discuss how Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio helps ensure young people have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer. For many families, summer can mean losing access to school meals. That's why our Clubs provide breakfast and lunch at no charge to members throughout the summer.
