Our summer interns stepped away from their desks and headed behind the scenes at the Bolt warehouse. They explored how our warehouse operates, met the teams making it all happen and saw first-hand how physical operations support Bolt's wider business. An internship at Bolt goes far beyond learning the theory. It is about seeing the full picture, asking questions and experiencing how things work in the real world. Through hands-on opportunities and deep dives into different parts of the business, our interns get a true sense of what it means to be a teammate at Bolt. 💚 #lifeatbolt #earlycareers

Give 16 design students two real product challenges, six weeks and a camera, then watch what happens. 🎬👇 Together with Bolt, Interaction Design MA students from the Estonian Academy of Arts explored two questions: 1. How could in-app recommendations feel more relevant to everyday life? 2. And how could the delivery handoff between a courier and customer be made smoother? This film follows the full six-week process: the uncertainty, difficult questions, discarded concepts, testing, feedback and breakthroughs along the way. That is where the value of early-career talent often shows up. They question assumptions, look at familiar problems differently and keep pushing when the answer is not obvious. The journey was documented and edited by Yachuan Chen, an EKA Interaction Design alumna who followed the students throughout the collaboration. Our Product Design team is hiring. 💡 New tech blog alert: Did you know that leading a feature can mean much more than writing the code? It can mean: 👉 Designing a technical solution across teams and tech stacks 👉 Coordinating development and removing blockers 👉 Managing the rollout and monitoring the feature in production At Bolt, engineers take ownership from the initial idea through system design, development, launch, and monitoring. In our latest Bolt Tech Blog, Senior Software Engineer Daria explains how feature leading works in practice — from defining scope and preparing the system design to coordinating development and managing a gradual rollout. A useful read for engineers who want to strengthen their product thinking, influence technical decisions, and take greater ownership of outcomes. What does it take to move from completing tasks to leading a feature end to end? Let’s find the answer in the full article: https://lnkd.in/dgmjk9XU

"The pace is crazy, but the energy is infectious." That's how one of our recent job shadows described their experience at our HQ. Through our job-shadowing experiences, students and early-career talent from different backgrounds get a firsthand look at what working in a global tech company is really like. Across Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, People, Legal, Finance, Product, and Operations, they jump into the deep end—sitting in on live meetings, observing high-pressure decision-making, and seeing how quickly priorities can shift. They challenge us with questions like: - What actually makes someone stand out in a high-performing team? - How is AI reshaping our daily workflows? - How do you navigate ambiguity and make decisions under pressure? - What is the gap between university theory and real-world execution? The feedback? "It helped me understand possible career directions much more clearly." "I learned more about how teams and processes work in one day than I expected." The people asking the hard questions today are the ones who will help lead the industry tomorrow. We're just getting started. 🚀 #lifeatbolt #wearehiring #earlycareers

Some career growth stories come with a promotion. Julien's came with a 60+ person team, one of Bolt's most complex markets, and a very honest warning about taking care of your hairline. Back in 2017, Julien joined Bolt as an Operations Specialist. Today, he is Regional General Manager for Rides across France, Belgium, and Southern Europe, leading a team that has grown step by step from 5 people to 10, 20, 30, and now more than 60. As Julien puts it, each stage is a different job. You don't lead a team of 5 the same way you lead a team of 60. The pressure changes, the responsibility grows, and the decisions become bigger. But for Julien, the pressure isn't about the number of people. It's about being the best leader he can be for his team, giving them a clear vision, making the right decisions, and holding himself to the same high standards he expects from others. That's also what makes Bolt different: high autonomy, high standards, real impact, and the chance to work on some of the most complex challenges in society with people who push you to be better every day. Or, in Julien's words: don’t choose corporate, choose Bolt. A story of leadership, growth, and building something meaningful, one market, one team, and one very French "Vive Bolt!" at a time. #lifeatbolt #wearehiring
