every industry that scaled trust did it the same way not by trusting individuals more but by agreeing on a shared signal everyone could read wine has vintages, tasting notes, and appellation rules finance has audited statements medicine has board certifications and malpractice records even a used car has a Carfax hiring has a document the candidate wrote about themselves and two or three people willing to say nice things on request the problem is not dishonesty it is the absence of a shared grammar no common format, no verification standard, no way to compare signals across contexts when the grammar doesn't exist, everyone defaults to proxies prestige schools, recognizable logos, confident body language none of which measure the actual work a trust layer is not a background check it is the grammar itself verified outputs, confirmed by the people who saw them happen, portable across every future role once the grammar exists, the signal can travel

the year is 1944. allied forces recruit local resistance fighters across occupied europe. no résumés. no LinkedIn. commanders made decisions on one thing: who vouched for you, and how many times they'd seen you show up it worked. imperfectly. but it worked. lesson in there. the modern hiring market spent 60 years building infrastructure for credentials degrees, titles, certifications, GPAs all of it designed to answer one question: what does this person CLAIM to have done nobody built infrastructure for the other question what did people who worked alongside them actually see that's not an oversight. it was a constraint. verifying lived reputation at scale was impossible so the industry defaulted to proxies and called it a system AI just made those proxies worthless a model can generate a credential it cannot fabricate 12 people independently remembering the same thing about you that's the primitive the market is missing not a better résumé format not a smarter screener verified reputation, attested by real collaborators, owned by the worker Bondex is building exactly that not because it's a nice idea because it's the only signal left that's brittle to fake

when a human recruiter screens you, they're reading signals and making a judgment call when an agent screens you, it's reading structured data and calling no one that second step is the problem agents can parse a profile in milliseconds they cannot verify the person behind it exists they have no primitive for "this is a real human" old trust model: recruiter intuition + reference checks + a phone call agentic model: structured data + no intuition + no call the verification layer was never built into the stack because humans were always in the loop now they're not so agents are making hiring decisions at scale on inputs that are cheap to fabricate with no way to distinguish a verified person from a generated one verified humans become the scarce asset not because people got rarer but because PROVING you're real got harder agents will need something to call a signal that says: real person, checked by real collaborators, reputation attached that's the trust layer hiring is missing right now bondex.app

Notice what's wrong here? This 'recruiter' was at Kraken before it was created. Or maybe this is Kraken's founder Jesse Powell having a side hustle for Eigen Labs. I get 5 people a day getting hacked, including their telegram as they are clicking on links or downloading from recruiters. Please do extra due diligence. The use of AI in the opening message is a 🚩 Offering a crazy salary 🚩 Check their LinkedIn followers and connections Check their posts, do they have any or just reposts Also, I've seen real recruiters be hacked so always be cautious One bad link clicked and it could be a disaster. What's your 🚩 on a LinkedIn profile

deepfake live video calls impersonating Dubai's Crown Prince drained victims' savings in July 2026 Nigerian syndicates ran the operation using real-time AI-generated video the scam worked. every call, every smile, every declaration. how... 🧵 the victim, Maria, believed she was in a live relationship with a real person on a real video call over $1,000 gone before the illusion cracked Nigerian-linked syndicates used content-generation AI to sustain the persona across multiple calls, not just a single fake photo the playbook: pick a high-status real public figure (Dubai's Crown Prince in this case) build an AI deepfake capable of real-time live video run romance conversations over weeks, building emotional trust then request money, gifts, transfers the mark never saw a static image. they saw a face, moving, reacting, smiling worth reading in full: https://lnkd.in/e-pVNHQw if a live deepfake can hold a romantic relationship for weeks, it can hold a 30-minute recruiter interview the same technology, the same syndicates, already targeting hiring pipelines verified identity isn't a nice-to-have anymore the fix isn't a better interview script it's knowing the human on the other side is provably real before the call starts bondex.app

deepfake files grew 900% year over year 3 seconds of someone's voice clones it at 85% accuracy how fraud became fully automated... 🧵 Soups Ranjan, CEO of Sardine, watched the progression firsthand: jittery and obviously fake 12 months ago, smoother 6 months ago, indistinguishable from a real video call today the tools to generate a realistic passport, hologram included, are widely available Brendan Ittelson at Zoom built its trust and safety org from scratch his read: fraud moved from a niche tool for well-funded actors to something "mainstream, accessible by most individuals" it's not one attack vector, it's five running simultaneously the five: deepfake video calls, synthetic identities, VPN-masked locations, AI feeding answers during technical screens, proxy interviews where someone else takes the call entirely each one has different tells, different defenses and they don't arrive one at a time the structural shift: fraud is going agentic attacks that once needed a human to coordinate are now running end to end by AI a defense that waits for a human reviewer to catch each flag can't keep pace with that finance solved a version of this with shared-signal infrastructure across institutions hiring hasn't built that yet verified reputation, checked by real collaborators before the interview starts, is what makes a candidate harder to fake than a deepfake bondex.app

AI can write your resume, ace your mock interviews, and still not get you hired. The candidates winning right now are doing the opposite of what everyone else does. 10 ways to stand out when everyone has the same tools 🧵 Research past the job post. Most people read the listing and stop. Go further. Recent hires, the leadership team, where the company is heading. Walk in as someone who can solve their next problem, not fill a seat. Win the first 20 seconds. People start forming an opinion before you finish your second sentence. Don't recite your whole history. Say who you are, what you're great at, and why you fit this role. Clarity beats polish. Tell stories, not task lists. Interviewers hear responsibilities all day. They rarely hear: here was the problem, here's what I did, here's what changed. Connect your experience to what the role actually needs. That sticks. Master the vague question. Some questions are vague on purpose. They test your judgment. Instead of freezing, try "I can take that two ways, which would be more useful?" Composure under pressure reads as confidence. Ask sharper questions. Your questions say more about you than your answers. Skip salary for a minute. Ask what's hard for the team right now, what the priorities are, what success looks like in year one. Make them picture you on the team. Be the one they can trust. As fake interviews and AI deception spread, honesty became a competitive edge. Show up prepared. Listen. Say "I don't know" when you don't. Small honest moves build more credibility than a perfect script. Lead with how fast you learn. Nobody expects you to know every tool. Tech moves too fast for that. What employers want is proof you can pick up tomorrow's skills quickly. Adaptability is the skill now. Use AI as a tool, not a crutch. 80% of hiring managers say they can spot an AI-written application. Use it to rehearse and pressure-test your thinking, not to replace your voice. The strongest applications still sound like a real person. Skip the "good enough" trap. AI loves handing you whatever sits at the top of the list. Top of the list isn't the same as right for you. Before you apply, ask if the role actually moves your career forward or just showed up first. Close with radical honesty. The strongest closer is also the scariest: "Is there anything about my background giving you hesitation that I could clear up before we finish?" It shows maturity, and it lets you kill a doubt before it kills your shot. Here's the irony of AI hiring. The smarter the tools get, the more the human stuff matters. Problem solving. Relationships. Judgment. None of it is going out of style. The best move isn't applying harder. It's getting discovered. 91% of hiring managers caught or suspected AI-driven candidate fraud in 2025. Nearly 1 in 5 reported direct exposure to deepfake video interviews. How synthetic identities are built to pass every check you run... 🧵 The November 2025 Greenhouse report put numbers to what firms were quietly seeing. 30% of first-year wages, minimum, is what the U.S. Department of Labor estimates a bad hire costs. For a senior executive, AI-enabled misrepresentation multiplies that: regulatory penalties, client loss, liability exposure on top. Synthetic identities are not forged documents. They are engineered ecosystems. A fabricated LinkedIn. A curated publication record. A speaking history. Directory listings. Each layer passes a standard check. Together, they construct a person who has never existed. The structural problem Cornell University research points to: any given search returns as little as 0.03% of available web information. Conventional background checks were built to find red flags. Synthetic identities contain none. They present fabricated green flags instead. Verification built to detect absence of red flags fails completely against identities engineered to show only green ones. The onboarding stage is now the attack surface. Hiring processes were not designed for this. Verified reputation, confirmed by real collaborators and owned by the worker, is what makes a candidate provably real before the interview starts. bondex.app

Experts project 1 in 4 candidate profiles globally will be fake by 2028. Heres the 3 steps hackers take to fake their way through the hiring process: Each campaign has three layers. First: AI-generated resumes, clean writing, Give aways are no specific numbers, no real examples, built to pass ATS filters. Second: fully built-out synthetic profiles on LinkedIn, timed to look established. Third: a proxy “expert for hire” or deepfake interviewer if the first two layers hold. By the time a recruiter is on a video call, the attacker is one conversation away from system access and sensitive data. Catch them before the interview stage, or the cost of being wrong gets very high, very fast. This is no longer about bad resumes slipping through. Hiring pipelines are now an organized attack surface. The campaigns are structured, the identities are built, and the volume is designed to overwhelm reviewers working one application at a time. Verified work history, checked by real collaborators, stops the fake profile problem before it reaches a recruiter's queue. bondex.app
