Your AI just learned to speak exposure management. Today we're launching the Brinqa BYOAI Marketplace. Every AI vendor at Black Hat this year will tell you they're AI-first. Most of them mean a chatbot bolted onto a dashboard. We've said something different for a while now: the durable advantage isn't in owning a model, it's in the data underneath it. The Marketplace is that idea, installed. Three skills, live now, for Claude Code and Claude Cowork. Point your AI at a settings export and get a deployment guide in five minutes instead of a night. Debug a connector before a sync ever touches production. Get an orchestration status report without anyone needing console access. But three skills built by us is just the start. We're building a community, customers and partners contributing skills alongside Brinqa, not just installing what we ship. If you've automated something for your own deployment, there's a place for it here. Your AI already knows how to work. Now it knows how to work Brinqa. AI is reaching the CISO from both the offensive and defensive sides: attackers use AI to discover and exploit weaknesses faster; defenders use AI-driven exposure management to understand and prioritise risk. Brad Hibbert, COO and CSO at Brinqa, and analyst Richard Stiennon bring practitioner experience and analyst perspective together to examine the implications of AI-powered cyberattacks, remediation and organisational readiness. Ahead of Black Hat, VMblog asked our CAIO Ron Dovich what he wants a CISO to remember after walking away from our booth. His answer: "The data foundation matters more than the agent. Any vendor can bolt AI onto a dashboard; few can prove the output traces back to a verified record instead of a guess. If a CISO remembers one thing: Brinqa is the trusted foundation that makes any AI strategy in exposure management safe to act on." It's the same principle behind everything we've built: every recommendation traces back to a governed, verified record, not a guess. Read the full Q&A before you hit the floor at Black Hat, then swing by booth 6030 for a round of CVE Tetris and phone booth confessionals. #BHUSA #BlackHat2026 #ExposureManagement #CISO

The question at #BlackHat2026 won't be "which AI agent do you have?" It'll be "can you trust what it just told you?" Ahead of the show, VMblog sat down with Ron Dovich, Chief AI and Automation Officer at Brinqa, to talk about that shift and what it means for exposure management. In this pre-show Q&A, Dovich shares: 🔹 Why Brinqa's real differentiator is its governed CyberRisk Graph™, not another AI agent 🔹 How agentic AI is collapsing the exploitation window and what that means for defenders 🔹 The 60-80% ownership gap quietly undermining remediation across enterprise environments 🔹 A first look at Brinqa's Black Hat booth activations, including a CVE triage game and an on-site confession booth 🔹 His prediction for the cybersecurity conversation that will define 2027 If you're heading to #BlackHat USA 2026, this is worth a read before you hit the floor. Tech alliances: easy to talk about, hard to get right. Brinqa's SVP of Tech Alliances Jay Klauser broke down what actually goes into a partnership that works: it's never just "how do we pull in your data." It's how do we build something both sides can use to get findings fixed, not just found. Jay's filter for a real partnership: what's the partner's unique lens, what can Brinqa's existing connectors and data already do, and where does that combination actually drive remediation. We couldn't agree more with Maria Velasquez! "We're allowed to have humor, we're allowed to have entertainment now." Cybersecurity is a crowded space, and vendors can really struggle to differentiate. But standing out means remembering who your audience is and giving them something worth paying attention to. Fun isn't a distraction from the strategy, it's part of it. We're lucky to have people like Maria and our CMO Heather Dodgers-Rubash pushing us to think bigger. Catch that same energy live at Black Hat USA, booth 6030, for TRIAGE Tetris! #cybersecurity #BHUSA2026 #CyberMarketing
"Oh, really, you're gonna do that?" 👀 That's the way cybersecurity marketing used to be...but now it's "more hip" as we can humor and entertainment. See how Maria Velasquez (Co-Founder of The Purple Drop & Cybersecurity Marketing Society, and Growth Marketing Director at Brinqa) and Whyze Labs CEO, Alano Vasquez, are turning heads with their unique approaches to cyber marketing in this special Marketers & Founders Edition of Cooking with CISOs clip. Are there cybersecurity companies that you admire for their marketing approach? Join us this Friday, July 31st, at 12 PM ET to binge-watch the full episode with us: https://lnkd.in/gKrCdp_w. ______________ 🔥 Recipe: Pollo a la Brasa 🍗 ________________ A huge thank you to our friends and co-producers at Whyze Labs for sponsoring this episode and for bringing Maria to the table. _______________ Producers: The CyberNest, CyberSynapse.io, and Whyze Labs

Lots of posts on this topic, but this was a particularly good take from Brinqa's CAIO Ron Dovich on the Hugging Face breach. TL;DR This is the third time in a few months AI has closed a gap nobody saw coming. It found vulnerabilities faster than any human team could (Mythos). It ran a whole attack start to finish with nobody at the keyboard (JadePuffer). And now it's broken into a company that had nothing to do with it, chasing a goal that had nothing to do with them. No attacker or campaign, just a model running straight through them to get what it wanted. Fascinating and terrifying at the same time. Check out Ron's full post here: https://lnkd.in/gZi2k5ib

Talk to enough security teams right now and you'll find most of them are already building agents somewhere in the org, sanctioned or not. Those agents are pulling data from wherever they can get it. What separates a useful agent from a liability is what it's built on: trusted, governed exposure data, or a pile of raw exports and shadow integrations. We wrote a practical guide to what that looks like on Brinqa. Link in the comments for the full post.
