Iowa: 3 days, 3 cities. When CBCTs are purchased by dentists, it is up to the clinical team to produce high-quality radiographs. Initial training gets everyone started, but it doesn't always explain the why behind image quality or account for the unique workflows and challenges of each practice. Over the past few days, I had scheduled stops at several practices across Iowa, leading CBCT image quality in-services for specialty and general practices, along with a lunch and learn focused on practical CBCT applications in restorative dentistry. I've spent years learning how this stuff works so that I can help you use it for what it is intended: to reduce the number of assumptions you have to make, so the right treatment can happen faster, safer, and more uniformly. If you're in Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota and your practice uses a Carestream Dental panoramic or CBCT system, I'd be glad to spend time with your team. Better image quality starts with better understanding, and this is what I love to do.
