Las Vegas bingo has split into two distinct products. Station Casinos has built out Rock Shot Bingo, a nightlife-style format with DJs, themed events, and electronic cards, now running across five properties. Independent operators like South Point and the Plaza have gone the opposite direction, keeping the traditional format but scaling up the prize pools, including a $2 million event already sold out through 2027. Both approaches are pulling in different demographics and spending patterns within the same 17-hall Vegas bingo market. We break down how each model works: https://lnkd.in/erzydajr

Netflix's new Instadocs installment, The Prediction Games, puts hard numbers behind the prediction market boom, including $5.6 billion wagered on the World Cup final across Kalshi and Polymarket alone. The documentary features interviews with both companies' CEOs and CFTC Chairman Michael Selig, and doesn't shy away from the sector's regulatory gray areas: insider trading risk, market manipulation, and cases where the existence of a market appears to have changed real-world behavior. We break down what the documentary reveals about where prediction markets are headed next.

In iGaming, Odysseus never left us. Capecod Solutions' "Ulisse" has been an Italian industry classic for years, long before anyone greenlit a movie. Now Christopher Nolan, my favorite filmmaker, brings him back to the big screen, all in IMAX: a hero too stubborn to give up against monsters and gods, finally in the hands of a director too stubborn to shoot him on a normal camera. Of course, we followed the story too, and we told it our way. And somehow, a tale nearly 3,000 years old got picked up again across the national press. On the frontline, as always, with Casinos.com. P.S. the movie is a 9/10. 🌊 https://lnkd.in/e87bAB7S #iGaming #DataStorytelling #PR #Cinema #Nolan #TheOdyssey #DigitalPR

In 2004, a British entrepreneur sold almost everything he owned, flew to Vegas, and put every last penny on red. One spin decided if he'd double his money or lose the lot. That's just one of the wild true stories we found putting together our deep dive into roulette, the game, the myths and the actual math behind why the house always wins.

Fibonacci betting is one of the more disciplined negative progression systems in casino play, less volatile than Martingale, more structured than flat staking. We've mapped how the sequence applies across blackjack, roulette, baccarat and craps, and the bankroll requirements needed to survive a long losing run before it turns a profit.

A new federal bill wants online sportsbooks and prediction markets to scan your face before you can place a bet. Rep. Josh Gottheimer's "Facial Recognition to Protect Children Act" is aimed at stopping kids from logging into a parent's or sibling's account undetected, and it already has an unusual backer: Kalshi's own CEO.

Polymarket exited three Canadian provinces, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec, one week before Alberta's regulated iGaming market went live on July 13. No public explanation. Alberta's minister called it "good news." Ontario already has Polymarket serving a two-year ban tied to a securities settlement, and CIRO's rules on event contracts (no sports, no political markets, 30-day minimum settlement) leave little room for the products that drive most US prediction market revenue. Kalshi is testing a narrower path, partnering with Wealthsimple to offer CIRO-approved contracts within those limits. Meanwhile Alberta's launch cleared 22 operators on day one, with the province projecting roughly $76 million in first-year revenue.

Italy keeps detailed maps of everything that matters: wines, dialects, patron saints, pasta shapes, football grudges. Until last week, it had no map of its tennis passion. So at Casinos.com we drew one. Google signals plus Italian Tennis Federation data, published the day after Jannik Sinner's second consecutive Wimbledon title (by now, barely news). We called it the Sinner Effect Index, because that's what it measures: what happens to a country when a quiet redhead from South Tyrol refuses to stop crushing opponents. The map made its own journey: tennis and national media first, then local papers, north to south. A few of its stops are below. Good athletes win matches. The greatest ones change what a country pays attention to. 🎾 https://lnkd.in/eFAmjKfy #Tennis #Sinner #DigitalPR #Wimbledon #EarnedMedia #DigitalMarketing #PR
