💜Meet Paul💜 As Head of #Policy and Research at AMMF, my role involves collaborating with #researchers, healthcare professionals and decision makers to help drive improvements in #awareness, diagnosis, treatment and support for those affected by cholangiocarcinoma. My favourite part of my role at #AMMF is working with researchers, healthcare professionals, patients and policymakers to improve awareness, influence change and support better outcomes for people affected by #cholangiocarcinoma. A fun fact about me is I once worked in an animal sanctuary, which reflects my love of animals and their welfare. At home, I have two cats called Cheesecake and Churro, who keep life entertaining. I am also a keen photographer and find it to be both creative and rewarding and enjoy taking a snap or two whenever I get the chance. #CCA #bileductcancer

💜Meet Rebecca💜 As #Fundraising Support and Admin Officer at AMMF, I provide administrative and operational support to our fundraisers, helping to ensure they have a positive fundraising experience. I also provide financial administrative support, processing and recording fundraising and #donations income to help maintain accurate records. My favourite part of my role at #AMMF is engaging with our fundraisers, #patients and their families. I enjoy getting to know them, supporting them with their queries and witnessing the passion and dedication of those who are determined to make a difference to those affected by #cholangiocarcinoma. A fun fact about me is I really enjoy reformer Pilates and at 10 years old I got the chance to meet the late Queen Elizabeth II as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations at Lambeth Palace. When I am not at work you will find me and my family at the local petting zoo. Rebecca is enjoying her maternity leave after expanding her family in May 2026. #bileductcancer #CCA

💜Meet Natasha💜 As Executive Assistant at #AMMF, I provide high level administrative and project support across the #charity. I work closely with HPB Clinical Nurse Specialists, supporting projects that enhance patient support, education and cholangiocarcinoma awareness. My favourite part of my role at AMMF is working alongside #HPB Clinical #Nurse Specialists and supporting the valuable work that they do. I also enjoy being involved in the wide range of unique and innovative projects that AMMF is currently working on to help shape the future of #cholangiocarcinoma. A fun Fact about me is I am an accomplished pianist with a passion for Formula 1. Natasha is enjoying her maternity leave after starting her family in August 2025, Natasha will be returning to work in September 2026 and we can’t wait to have her back. #bileductcancer #CCA

💜Meet Hermione💜 I am currently covering a maternity leave cover as AMMF’s #Fundraising Support and Admin Officer, I support fundraising, events, #finance, administration, social media, shop orders and #campaigns, helping to coordinate activities throughout the year and support our fundraisers and #donors. My role is varied and I really enjoy that not every day is the same, but my favourite part of the role is knowing our work makes a real difference to people’s lives, and I especially enjoy helping being involved with #AMMF’'s annual #conference. A fun fact about me is at only 23 years old I have visited 14 countries, my favourite for travelling and culture, would be #Thailand and my favourites for family holidays would be Cyprus and Greece. When I’m not at work you’ll usually find me painting or at a live music event. #bileductcancer #CCA

💜Reth!nk Liver Cancer💜 We are shaping the future: from early detection to improved #survival as we continue to highlight the urgent need for: 💜Greater #awareness 💜Earlier #diagnosis 💜Better access to treatments and specialist care We are proud to introduce one of #AMMF's new faces of cholangiocarcinoma, Louise. A fit and healthy mum of two, Louise first developed pain during a family holiday in the summer of 2023. Following a series of scans and tests, she was diagnosed in November 2023 with a 6cm tumour. A liver biopsy confirmed it was #cholangiocarcinoma. Although #surgery was not an initial option, treatment successfully shrank the #tumour and in 2024 Louise received the welcome news that she was eligible for surgery. However, at a routine three-month follow-up scan, she learned that the #cancer had returned. Louise advocates for: “Recurrence is sadly common with cholangiocarcinoma, that’s why there needs to be a consistent approach across the #NHS to monitoring of recurrence, supported by the rollout of new #diagnostic technologies, that can detect this aggressive cancer earlier and more reliably”. 💜Meet Elisa 💜 I provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support for Board-level meetings, including preparing agendas and board papers, distributing confidential documentation, taking accurate minutes, and ensuring all follow-up actions were tracked and completed. Liaising with senior #executives, #trustees, and key #stakeholders to ensure meetings were well organised, professionally managed, and delivered efficiently. My favourite part of working for #AMMF is being part of an organisation dedicated to such an important and urgent cause. It is incredibly rewarding to contribute to work that has a meaningful impact, while experiencing first-hand the professionalism, dedication, and rigour with which the team approaches every aspect of its mission. A fun fact about me is that I'm originally from #Italy. I love learning and am always looking for new opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally, this is why I am currently working towards my fourth degree. 💜Meet Mark💜 As AMMF’s Graphic Designer, I create the #charity’s printed and digital materials, ensuring that the #brand remains consistent and professional across all platforms. From brochures and banners to social media graphics, every piece of design has been created by me. I enjoy working with the entire #AMMF team on a variety of projects and I love #collaborating with them, bringing their ideas and vision to life through engaging and impactful design. I really enjoy #connecting with people and what better way than to learn different ways to communicate so I am currently learning sign language.
