We’re excited to launch the refreshed Go Electric Rebates program for medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles with the Province of British Columbia!   This has been a truly collaborative effort – bringing together government, industry partners, and stakeholders to co-design a program that better meets the needs of fleets, dealers, and communities across the province.   From stakeholder engagement and market research to program design and delivery, it’s been incredibly rewarding to help shape a program that will: ·      Accelerate the adoption of zero-emission vehicles ·      Reduce emissions across key sectors ·      Support businesses in their transition to cleaner transportation   Huge thanks to our sub-contractors Community Energy Association and Electra and the entire CleanBC team! Richard Pamak's heating and electricity bills were over $8,000 a year. He lives in Nain, Nunatsiavut – a community accessible only by sea during summer and snowmobile in winter, where diesel is delivered once a year and heating failures can be dangerous. After a heat pump installation through the Nunatsiavut Energy Efficiency Retrofit (NEER) program: "The house already feels more comfortable. I also can’t wait to try the air conditioning side of my heat pump in the summer." NEER provides free energy audits and up to $20,000 in free upgrades for low-income residents – regardless of heat source. CLEAResult Canada is the delivery partner helping turn that vision into reality, one home at a time. "They help me steer the ship. Pangnirtung, Nunavut sits 50 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle. There are no roads in. Diesel arrives by tanker once a year and about 25% of the Hamlet’s annual budget goes to fuel. Our team travelled there to listen – to residents, the Hamlet’s infrastructure director, the elders who talked about thinning ice and shifting hunting seasons — and to help build an energy plan designed around how Pangnirtung actually lives.
