Technology Convergence = Competitive Advantage World Economic Forum and Capgemini published this thought leadership report highlighting #BCI + #AI + #AR (pages 32-36) as the unlock for creating enterprise value. Jump to page 32 for a glimpse of the future. Non-invasive Brain-computer Interfaces. On-device intelligence. Cognitive-spatial interface. Neural sensing. It resembles the convergent future that Cognixion has been building. If you're looking to transform your health system, patient experience and drive quadruple aim outcomes, I'd encourage you to consider accelerating your clinical translational app development on the Axon-R (http://axon-r.com). Many leading health systems, research hospitals and digital health startups are pushing the boundaries of science and healthcare leveraging the Cognixion platform for these very reasons - creating novel assessments, diagnostics, immersive therapies, multimodal biomarker development, remote monitoring, tele-health and even on demand AI interventions and support. Congratulations to the brilliant work of Cathy Li, Head of the Centre of AI Excellence and Jeremy Jurgens, Managing Director of Centre for Frontier Technologies and Innovation (World Economic Forum), and Aiman Ezzat, Chief Executive Officer (Capgemini), and all of the contributors.

Fantastic panel last week featuring our CEO, Andreas Forsland, at Octane OC. Best summed up: BCI is not a niche; it is a platform 🧠
One of the most energizing conversations of the day came during the BCI panel, where moderator Amy Kruse, PhD, General Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Satori Capital, led a candid and forward-looking discussion on the evolution of brain-computer interfaces, from the science that made it possible to the capital and collaboration needed to scale it. The panelists brought a rare combination of depth and candor to the stage. Andreas Forsland, Founder and CEO of Cognixion, spoke to the power of platform thinking and non-invasive BCI as a path to reaching the broadest possible patient population. Marcus Gerhardt, Co-Founder and CEO of Blackrock Neurotech, the longest-standing BCI company in the world, shared the persistence required to build in a space that had no exits, no reimbursement, and no roadmap, punctuated by a moving example of an ALS patient now reading bedtime stories to his daughter using only his thoughts. Vivek Pinto, PhD, MBA, Director of Medical Affairs at Precision Neuroscience and a former FDA Division Director, brought a regulatory and clinical lens to the conversation, highlighting the value of early partnership with clinical sites and the importance of industry-wide standards collaboration. The session closed on a unifying note: BCI is not a niche; it is a platform. The panelists agreed that as scientific and engineering risk continues to come off the table, the next wave of capital should follow, and the opportunity ahead may ultimately produce a neuro company large enough to challenge top five medtech companies combined.

We’ve spent the last decade pushing the boundaries of what brain-computer interfaces can do. What’s changing now is the shift from possibility to responsibility. How do we take these systems out of the lab and into the real world in a way that is scalable, accessible, and truly useful for patients? I’ll be speaking at Neuro Tech Forum today on BCI: The Evolution of the Revolution, alongside an incredible group of leaders across the neurotechnology ecosystem. We’ll be digging into what’s actually working, what investors are backing, and what it takes to deliver real, lasting impact across different approaches. Looking forward to the conversation.
