  • Eight years of CoinTracker taught us something we didn't expect. Our users are some of the most meticulous people we know. They track cost basis across twelve wallets. But the same frustration kept coming up: the rest of their financial life was scattered across a dozen apps, spreadsheets, and advisors who don't talk to each other. The wealthy solved this problem a long time ago. It's called a family office: one team that manages everything (investments, taxes, real estate, big decisions) as a single coordinated plan. The catch: it usually takes tens of millions in assets to get one. Today we're launching Nino to give everyone that. A family office for the rest of us. Nino pairs a financial planner and accountant with an AI-powered platform, so you get insights no single professional could give you alone: → Make confident equity comp decisions, with full modeling of ISOs, RSUs, AMT, and 83(b) → Plan investing, retirement, and tax strategy together, not as three separate conversations → Get clear answers on the big decisions: buying a home, taking time off, starting a company → Work with a dedicated CPA and CFP team that guides you proactively, year-round → See everything in one place: crypto, investments, real estate, cash flow, all as a single plan One early customer found $6,800 in tax savings on their first call. That alone covers the cost of the plan for the year, which is why we back it with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Flat fee. No AUM. Nothing changes at CoinTracker. Crypto taxes remain our core focus. Nino is for the rest of your financial life.

  • If you paid IRS penalties from 2020 to 2023, you may be owed a refund. Two court rulings suggest penalties on tax obligations from Jan 20, 2020 through Jul 10, 2023 may have been improper. Crypto investors were hit hard: big 2021 gains, 2022 market chaos, and complex DeFi activity drove a lot of late filings and underpayments. Deadline to file most claims: July 10, 2026. What to do: -> Pull IRS transcripts for 2019-2022 -> Look for assessed penalties and interest -> File Form 843 (or a protective claim to preserve your rights) Full breakdown + FAQ: https://lnkd.in/g5bbu8Xc

  • Crypto users aren't trying to dodge taxes. They just don't know where to start. CoinTracker's Head of Tax Strategy, Shehan C. joined Reuters to break down findings from our joint report with Coinbase: from confusion over taxable events, to the nightmare of calculating cost basis across multiple wallets. This knowledge gap is one of the biggest barriers to mainstream crypto adoption. Closing it starts with better tools, better education, and clearer guidance. Link to full report in comments.

For a lean recruiting team, sourcing can quietly become a full-time job. At CoinTracker, a single role could take 10–30 hours a week just to build a pipeline. That's before any conversations happen. Before any hiring manager is happy. Before anyone gets closer to a close. To solve for that, they started partnering with Juicebox. Today, their workflow looks completely different. AI agents run sourcing in the background, sequences are automated and pipelines stay warm without constant manual effort. And they have achieved: 1. 30+ hours saved every week 2. ~50% reduction in sourcing time 3. 20% more candidates moving to interviews But what I find most meaningful is what their team does with the time back. More time with candidates. Deeper relationships with hiring managers. The best talent teams aren't just adopting new tools - they're rethinking their infrastructure. It should run in the background, 24/7, so your recruiters can get back to the work only they can do like building real relationships, reading the room, and making candidates feel like people, not pipeline. Grateful to be partnering with Valentina and the team at CoinTracker. Read more about how they use Juicebox in the comments.

  • Today we're releasing the 2026 Crypto Tax Readiness Report, a joint study with Coinbase based on a survey of 3,000 U.S. crypto investors. The headline: crypto investors overwhelmingly want to comply. 74% know their activity is taxable. 65% have already reported in the past. But when it comes to the details, there's a significant knowledge gap. Only 49% correctly understand that crypto is taxable when sold. Nearly a quarter believe simple wallet transfers trigger a tax event. 61% are unaware of the new IRS reporting rules taking effect this year. And just 35% have ever adjusted their cost basis, despite the average user holding assets across 2.5 platforms. As our Head of Tax Strategy Shehan Chandrasekera put it: the cost basis problem is uniquely hard to solve, and the right technology and data is key.
