Happy 4th of July. Today, we honor the generations of people who helped build this country into what it is today — men and women from every background, every trade, and every walk of life who brought their skills, work ethic, courage, and belief in a better future to America. Regardless of where we came from, we are all Americans, and we are strongest when we remember that we are in this together. Happy 250 years of freedom, unity, and opportunity. CompliComCurtis Smith

Dangerous heat is impacting much of the U.S. this week, and this is the time for supervisors and company leaders to stay close to their crews. OSHA’s message is simple: Water. Rest. Shade. Workers need frequent hydration, shaded or cooled recovery breaks, and active monitoring before symptoms become serious. Recent heat-related fatalities and excess deaths reported in France are a reminder that heat illness can escalate quickly and become deadly. Per OSHA guidance and the CompliCom Safety Manual, field leaders should adjust work, rotate workers, check heat index conditions, watch for signs like dizziness, cramps, confusion, or nausea, and speak up early. Protect your crews. Protect your field people. I’ve had several conversations today regarding the anonymous website currently circulating in the wireless tower industry. Before everyone builds the crosses, lights the torches, and gathers their pitchforks, it may be worth taking a step back. CompliCom supports several companies that appear to be named or referenced on that site. From my direct experience, those companies operate professionally, are above board, and take safety, compliance, and their reputations seriously. Anonymous online allegations should not be treated as verified fact. Even coverage discussing the Shadow Zone Investigation has noted that the findings have not been independently verified, and that labels such as “PROVEN,” “ALLEGED,” or “INFERRED” are the investigators’ own characterizations. There may be legitimate industry issues worth reviewing, but those issues should be addressed through facts, audits, documentation, and due process — not anonymous accusations or unverified narratives. It is fair to ask whether any anonymous publication could be influenced by commercial, competitive, political, or industry-specific motives — but without evidence, that remains only a question, not a conclusion. Review concerns professionally. Verify facts independently. Do not let unverified allegations define companies or the industry Curtis SmithCompliCom

This Memorial Day, CompliCom pauses to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Today is not simply the start of summer, a long weekend, or a day off. It is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy were paid for by those who never made it home. We remember their courage. We honor their sacrifice. We recognize the families who carry that loss every day. As Americans, we have a responsibility to never let Memorial Day become routine or forget what it truly represents. May we take time today to reflect, remember, and remain grateful for those who gave everything so the rest of us could live free. CompliCom honors the fallen. We remember. We are grateful. #MemorialDay #HonorTheFallen #NeverForget #FreedomIsNotFree CompliCom #Patriotism #ServiceAndSacrificeCurtis Smith
