The most expensive 10 minutes on a construction site... are usually the first 10. I've spoken with a lot of construction leaders recently, and the same issues keep coming up. • Employees clocking in from the parking lot. • Time rounded up at the end of the day. • Supervisors spending hours fixing timesheets before payroll. But across multiple crews, every week, they become expensive. One contractor shared that they introduced NFC clock-ins due to employees clocking in while still in their cars. Now, crews simply tap their phone on an NFC tag before starting work, creating a much clearer record of when the workday actually begins. Sometimes, the best operational improvements are straightforward. Just a simple tap can make a difference. Curious how construction companies are using NFC? Watch a few real customer stories: https://lnkd.in/e8hJsP9c Curious whether something like this would work for your crews? Happy to chat. #Construction #TimeTracking #FieldOperations #Payroll

  • Nobody starts a construction company because they love building schedules. 🗓️ Nobody opens a restaurant because they enjoy fixing timesheets. Nobody launches a cleaning business because updating employees is their passion. People start businesses because they have a dream. Somewhere along the way... They become full-time administrators. That's the reality of running a business. Spending less time doing the work you actually love. And it shouldn't be that way. It's 2026. We're here change that. What's one admin task you wish would simply disappear?

The construction industry has been sounding the alarm for years. Now everyone else is finally listening. Starting this month, the U.S. is funding short-term workforce training programs for high-demand skilled professions, including electricians, HVAC technicians, apprenticeships, and many other career pathways. That's a pretty remarkable shift. For years, construction companies have been saying the same thing: "We have projects. We just don't have enough people." When the U.S. government changes policy because an industry can't find workers... you know it's no longer just an industry problem. It's a reminder that labor shortages aren't solved only by hiring faster. Sometimes they require rethinking how we attract, train, and support the next generation of workers. https://lnkd.in/ej5QrRGc Which other industries deserve this kind of investment in their future workforce?

Every software has that one feature everyone discovers... way too late. The one that makes you say: "Wait... we've been doing this manually for six months?" This month we're trying to prevent exactly that. 🎓 Onboard with Ease (Today · July 14) Build an onboarding process your new hires will actually thank you for. https://lnkd.in/dB7Y3FJf 🏖️ A Deep Dive into Time Off (July 21) Because leave policies shouldn't require a PhD. https://lnkd.in/dw6GBqPn 🚀 New Releases – July '26 (July 28) Everything we've shipped recently (plus a sneak peek at what's coming next). https://lnkd.in/dib_r_bF And yes, we get to spend some quality time with our customers, too. 😎

Last week, Bilgrai Events had the pleasure of producing our first event for Connecteam in Melbourne - a special celebration to mark a major company milestone. We kicked the day off with a celebratory breakfast, followed by the reveal of their newly decorated office, and wrapped up with a toast over a global live stream with the HQ on the other side of the world, music, flowing champagne and a very excited & proud team. Thank you Connecteam for putting your trust in Bilgrai Events, it’s been an honour to be part of this wonderful occasion!

  • Tech has become obsessed with the future. Our customers are busy running the present. Over the past few months, we've met construction teams, transportation operators, healthcare organizations, and dozens of other businesses that don't get nearly enough attention. None of them asked us about the latest disruptive AI model. They asked how to keep teams connected. How to communicate faster. How to train employees better. How to make sure work gets done. And honestly? Those conversations might be the most important ones happening in business today. Because while headlines are focused on what's next, these businesses are focused on what matters now. That's why we keep showing up. Not because another conference needs another software vendor. Because every conversation teaches us something. Sometimes it's a problem we haven't solved yet. Sometimes it's a feature customers have been using in ways we never expected. And sometimes it's a reminder that the best product decisions aren't made in meeting rooms. They're made by paying attention to the people doing the actual work. Turns out those events are also where the best content comes from. 😉
