Crawford is proud to help bring the Bright Lights Brighter Futures program to Brookside VFW 6173 in Brookside, AL this year in celebration of America’s 250th! This project is part of Sonepar’s nationwide effort to complete 14 LED lighting upgrades at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) posts this year. Built in 1946, the Brookside VFW has served veterans and the community for 80 years. This upgrade will replace outdated lighting with LED fixtures, creating a brighter, more welcoming space for veterans and families. The new lighting is also designed to help reduce energy use and lower utility costs, allowing the VFW to put more resources toward its core mission. We’re grateful to Cooper Lighting Solutions for donating lighting fixtures and materials, PSG ENERGY SERVICES for installation, and TerraCycle for providing recycling services for the old lamps. As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we take a moment to remember and honor those brave men and women who have given their lives for this country. This weekend, we’re reminded that the freedoms we enjoy came at a great cost — one carried by generations of service members and their families. Today and every day, we honor their sacrifice and remember those who never made it home. All locations will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

It's safe to say… y’all came hungry! We boiled through 1,200 lbs of crawfish, kept the drinks flowing, and spent the evening catching up with customers and vendors who continue to make this industry great. Events like this are a reminder that business is built on relationships — and we’re grateful for every one of you who spent the evening with us.
