About us

Cyclonaire is a recognized leader in the engineering and manufacturing of pneumatic conveying equipment. We take great pride in providing value-based solutions for bulk material transfer applications, railcar unloading, locomotive track sanding systems, dust collection and aeration systems. We also produce a full line of parts and accessories that integrate with belt conveyors and screw conveyors. Cyclonaire is also your number one source for valves and filters. At Cyclonaire, we combine top-quality equipment and system design integrity with exceptional personal service. You can depend on getting the right equipment recommendation the first time, as well as comprehensive start-up and customer service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Whether you need a basic solution for a simple system or a complete material handling system for a complex process, Cyclonaire will maximize your operation and meet your company’s exact needs. Our History The original invention on which Cyclonaire was founded was developed and patented in the early 1960's by Roe Black of Aurora, Nebraska. Black's invention relied on a single 15 PSI blower combined with a Venturi to vacuum load and discharge a five cubic foot pressure tank into a convey line. In 1966, the manufacturing rights were sold to York Manufacturing Company. At that time, the “pneumatic transporter” was best known for the role it played in the construction of Interstate 80 through Central Nebraska. Much of the cement used in the construction was unloaded from railcars by Cyclonaire equipment. In 1973, Cyclonaire Corporation was founded, and the marketing and manufacturing rights for Cyclonaire were purchased. Since then, Cyclonaire has experienced steady growth. Emphasis has broadened from railcar unloading systems to include pneumatic transfer application of all types. We work with hundreds of different materials across the broadest spectrum of industrial applications.

  • It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Kevin Vaught. Kevin was a valued member of the Cyclonaire family and served as an Applications Engineer, a role that allowed him to make an impact across every aspect of our organization. Kevin’s knowledge, experience, problem-solving abilities, and dedication helped shape solutions, support our customers, strengthen our projects, and contribute to the success of Cyclonaire in countless ways. But Kevin was so much more than his job title. Over the years, he became a true friend to so many of us. His presence, his kindness, his knowledge, his willingness to help, and the relationships he built with all of us made him such an important part of our Cyclonaire family. For many of us, the loss is not only that of a valued colleague, but of a true and trusted friend. The impact Kevin made on Cyclonaire will continue to be felt through the knowledge he shared, the work he contributed to, and the countless lives of all of us that have been blessed to be touched by him along the way. Our deepest sympathies are with Kevin’s wife, Kim, and all of his family, friends, and loved ones. Kim and the entire Vaught family are in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this profound loss. Kevin, you will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and never forgotten. Rest in peace, our friend.

  • As #battery manufacturing continues to evolve, so do the challenges of safely and efficiently handling critical raw materials. From graphite and lithium compounds to metal oxides and other specialty powders, every material has unique flow characteristics that demand the right conveying solution. At Cyclonaire, we engineer #pneumatic #conveying systems that are built around 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 process—not the other way around. Our team works with customers to overcome challenges such as material degradation, segregation, dust containment, contamination prevention, and precise material transfer while maintaining product integrity and improving system reliability. Whether you're scaling production for EV batteries or optimizing an existing process, our expertise in dense phase and dilute phase conveying helps reduce maintenance, minimize product loss, and deliver consistent performance from receiving to final processing. When your materials are unique, your conveying solution should be too. Adam Bonk can answer your questions. Connect with him here. 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞. 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

  • Cathode and anode materials, conductive additives, graphite, lithium compounds, and other battery ingredients each have unique characteristics that demand carefully engineered conveying solutions. Fine particle sizes, abrasive materials, segregation concerns, moisture sensitivity, dust containment, and contamination control all play a critical role in producing high-performance batteries. At Cyclonaire, we engineer pneumatic conveying systems around the material—not the other way around. By evaluating each material's physical properties and process requirements, we optimize conveying velocity, pressure, line loading, and system design to preserve particle integrity, reduce degradation, minimize wear, and improve overall process reliability. Our solutions are designed to help battery manufacturers: • Maintain material consistency throughout production • Reduce contamination risks with enclosed conveying systems • Improve operator safety through dust-controlled handling • Minimize maintenance and equipment wear • Scale production while maintaining process repeatability As demand for lithium-ion batteries and energy storage continues to grow, manufacturers need conveying systems that deliver precision, reliability, and long-term performance. At Cyclonaire, we're proud to partner with battery manufacturers to deliver the Right Solution. Total Solution. Lifetime Solution. • Not all minerals behave the same—and that's exactly why material handling can't be approached with a one-size-fits-all solution. From abrasive ores and fine mineral concentrates to moisture-sensitive powders and difficult-to-convey bulk solids, every material presents unique conveying challenges. Particle size, density, friability, abrasiveness, and flow characteristics all influence system performance, product integrity, and equipment life. At Cyclonaire, we engineer pneumatic conveying systems specifically around these material properties. Through material testing, application engineering, and decades of experience, we optimize conveying velocity, line loading, pressure, and system configuration to minimize degradation, reduce wear, improve reliability, and maximize operational efficiency. Whether the goal is preserving particle size, extending pipeline life, eliminating plugging, or reducing maintenance costs, our engineers work alongside customers to develop solutions that perform throughout the life of the system. Complex materials demand engineered solutions—not standard equipment. That's why mining and mineral processing companies trust Cyclonaire to deliver the 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
