Last week at Home Delivery World, the Doorstep team joined industry leaders to talk about where delivery operations are headed next. One theme kept coming up across both panels: The future of delivery will be driven by higher-fidelity real-world data. The industry has become incredibly good at optimizing everything up to the address. But once a driver reaches the property, visibility drops off. GPS breaks down. ETAs drift. Drivers lose time finding parking, entrances, and navigating inside buildings. Support teams are often left without clear visibility into what actually happened during the drop-off. At Doorstep, our team is building the infrastructure to solve that. Doorstep’s proprietary sensor-fusion technology detects parking, entrances, elevators, floors, and exact drop-off completion, turning every delivery into structured operational intelligence. Doorstep is already powering millions of deliveries for some of the biggest names in delivery. For our customers, this translates into: - Far more accurate ETAs - Better dispatch decisions - Faster, seamless driver navigation - Fewer disputes & failed deliveries - Smarter routing built on real-world movement data - Happier customers with fewer support calls A big thank you to everyone we shared the stage with and to the moderators who kept the conversations sharp. Our CEO, Shashwat M., also shared exciting updates alongside some of Doorstep’s partners during the event. The future of delivery isn’t just faster. It’s predictive, intelligent, and built all the way to the doorstep. If we didn’t get a chance to connect in Nashville, feel free to book time with our team via the link in the comments!

bring indoor visibility to your delivery tracking.
About us
Doorstep provides hyper-precise indoor tracking, giving delivery platforms real-time visibility into the most crucial step of last-mile operations—the drop-off. Our lightweight SDK uses proprietary algorithms and sensor fusion to detect entrances, elevators, floors, and drop-offs, all while drivers deliver as usual. This level of precision reduces service costs, eliminates disputes, prevents fraudulent refund claims, and boosts efficiency by proving the exact drop-off location. Headquartered in New York, Doorstep powers deliveries at scale with some of the world’s leading platforms and carriers.

GPS wasn't built to power deliveries. Especially indoors. That blind spot costs delivery platforms billions every year in fraud refunds, and leaves drivers struggling to find the right door. We built Doorstep to fix that. Doorstep runs seamlessly in the background on a driver’s phone. No hardware. No extra steps. Just precise, indoor-capable tracking that automatically captures when a driver enters a building, which elevator or staircase they take, what floor they reach, and the exact doorstep where the delivery is completed. For platforms, the impact is massive: disputes resolved automatically, refunds reduced, drivers guided with precise way-finding, and customers finally getting a delivery experience they can trust. Doorstep is live across all U.S. states - already powering 160M+ doors and reducing fraud, refunds, and driver time-to-door. “Proof of delivery” isn’t enough. The future is proof of doorstep. Running ops, fraud, or product at a delivery/logistics platform? Book time with us. Link in comments. #Logistics #LastMile #Delivery #Doorstep #Geospatial

Doorstep reposted this
Introducing Doorstep, the first indoor GPS for delivery platforms. It all started on my friend’s couch, when deliveries just wouldn't show up to the right door. I took a one-way ticket to New York and spent many nights sleeping in Antler’s office. Today, doorstep is live across every U.S. state, that’s more than 160M doors. For too long, delivery platforms have depended on unreliable proof-of-delivery photos. Support agents constantly lacked visibility. Chatbots give refunds with no context. Until now. Doorstep’s indoor tracking records exactly when and where a driver enters a building, which floor they reach, and the precise doorstep where the order is completed. It runs seamlessly in the background on the driver’s app. For delivery platforms, the impact is already clear: fewer disputes, faster resolutions, reduced fraud, shorter times to door, and billions saved through delivery efficiency. As a team, we’ve learned this one delivery at a time: building powerful sensor fusion algorithms that run without wifi, cell service, or additional hardware. Just pure physics and a few obsessed folks :) Today we’re announcing an $8M seed round led by Canaan, with participation from Antler, Cercano, CASSIUS, Kleiner Perkins scout Sean Henry and other key investors. Hrach Simonian, who also led Instacart’s seed, will be joining our board. Disputes, refunds, and failed deliveries shouldn’t be the cost of doing business. We are fixing that. DM me if you want to see it in action. Every delivery should end where it belongs: the Doorstep. Thank you Dominic-Madori Davis and TechCrunch for covering our journey so far. Pumped for what lies ahead!
