Thanks to Michael Wolf and The Spoon for the coverage. We got the automation right nearly a decade ago. Even then, restaurant brands wanted to buy the technology, but we weren't selling it- we were focused on running our own restaurant. When the pandemic hit, we started conversations with some of those operators and realized something important: the technology was ready and proven, but the product needed to evolve. So we went back to the drawing board. We brought together experienced QSR operators, restaurant technology leaders, James Beard Award-Winning chefs, hospitality veterans, and brand builders to rethink how creator could best serve the industry. As for whether the platform can survive real restaurant operations, we have an answer that few in food robotics can claim: more than two years of operating our own restaurant in San Francisco. We didn't learn this business in a lab. We learned it on the line. During service. When tickets were stacking up, equipment was down, labor was tight, and guests were waiting. We owned the P&L. We managed food and labor costs. We served more than 500,000 burgers. The lessons weren't theoretical. They were earned every shift, every day. That's the foundation of what we've been building. The prep is done. Service starts in July. Oui, chef. https://lnkd.in/eY2Y_-eW

the freshest burger on earth. engineered to perfection.
About us
creator builds robots that make great burgers. The mission: use robotics to make high-quality food accessible and affordable, starting with hamburgers at scale. We're part designer, part food revolutionary, part roboticist. The original crew of epicurious engineers, culinary scientists, human-centered designers, machinists, and fabricators are now joined by operators from Uber, Nuro, McDonald's, and Wendy's. Tech obsession meets restaurant reality. We started in a garage in 2012 as Momentum Machines. Five quiet years of engineering later, creator opened in San Francisco's SoMa district in 2018 - a fully autonomous system that sliced buns, ground and seared patties, melted cheese, and assembled burgers from whole ingredients, end to end. $6. Lines around the block. TIME called it one of the "World's Coolest Places." It worked. Then 2020 happened. The SoMa location went dark. 2021 was a blur. In 2022 we opened inside the Tesla Factory in Fremont - precision manufacturing feeding precision manufacturing. In 2023 large QSR brands started calling. In 2024 we made a random connection that brought us back properly. Today creator is back, bigger and smarter. The platform has been redesigned for food retail operators with existing kitchens - no gut renovation, no robotics degree required. Deploy it under the creator brand or your own. The brand carries on, but the platform is bigger than the brand. No gimmicks. No robot theater for robot theater's sake. Just damn good burgers, built by machines that finally grew up. If you want to touch the most people, make food.

Five months of prep work and planning. Then we drove our hamburger robot 16 hours from San Francisco to Phoenix in a 24 -foot box truck and put it to work. Arrived at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa and had the robot set-up and in place within 30 minutes. 250 burgers served at the Informa RLC Equipment Lab happy hour on Monday evening. Partnered with Marriott Hotels Executive Chef Bryan G. Gorton to create and serve over 300 of his very own "Sonoran 25 Burger" while sponsoring RLC After Dark on Tuesday with twenty6. The best part wasn’t only the burgers. It was the conversations. Operators weren’t asking what is this? They were asking: How much? When can I get one? How many can I get? That’s the signal. Appreciate everyone who took the time to visit our booth, spent time with us, challenged us, and pushed the conversation forward. And big thanks to the team who made this happen end to end: Mayra O'Harris Taylor Leslein Robert Buchanan Jasmine S. Bryan G. Gorton Cassaundra Washington Corinne Esposito Breezie Gindlesperger We’ve been patiently waiting for this moment -we spent the last few years preparing to scale. Now we’re ready to scale. Special thanks to Marcus Viscidi- this was his idea. Actually. #RLC2026 #RLC25

We built a robotic restaurant in 2018. It worked. COVID hit. We pivoted. Now we’re back - with better tech and seasoned operators who’ve run multi-unit, high-volume restaurants, including a James Beard Award-winning chef. We’re headed to RLC. Booth 412. Honored to be part of the 25th anniversary. Come find us.
