Happy Lunar New Year to everyone celebrating around the world! 🧧🐎
As Co-President of Asian Employees at eBay (AE2), this holiday fills me with pride because it represents renewal, reflection, and the excitement of new beginnings. Today at eBay, we hosted our 2nd Golden Marketplace, showcasing 20+ talented creators, crafters, and small businesses!
For me, Lunar New Year has always been about connection — gathering around the table with my family, playing countless rounds of Bầu Cua Cá Cọp, and sharing delicious home-cooked dishes. These simple yet deeply meaningful moments remind me that community is one of our greatest sources of strength.
That spirit of togetherness is what makes this celebration so powerful: we honor where we come from while setting bold intentions for where we’re going. As we welcome the Year of the Horse, we embrace its energy, resilience, and forward momentum. Our theme this year, “Strength in Motion,” captures that spirit — moving forward together as one company across teams, regions, and cultures, united by shared purpose and collective resilience to create lasting impact.
I am incredibly grateful to my co-president, Kelly-Anne Cheung, our AE2 leadership team (Tiana Austel, Dawn Sadowski, Allison H., Aleeza Yu, Kayomi Kayoshi, Jenn Omura, Jessica Chee, MBA), members, and allies who bring this community to life. May this new year inspire us all to lead with courage, run toward opportunity, and make 2026 a year filled with happiness, shared progress, and meaningful success! ❤️
