Excited to recognize Carey Castle and the team at Somerset Community College on the 2026 SVS® Honors List. When institutional leaders genuinely commit to hearing from students—and students respond with that kind of enthusiasm—it proves what's actually possible in higher ed. Somerset's students spoke, their team listened, and the results are clear. Check out the full SVS Report and the complete 2026 Honors List → → https://lnkd.in/gH3QcP9R

Rankings are everywhere. Meaningful recognition rooted in student feedback? That's rare. When enrollment leaders actively listen and build on what they hear, the results speak for themselves. Proud to recognize Somerset's commitment to student-centered enrollment. Congrats to John K. Hall, Ed.D at Somerset Community College on making the 2026 EdSights SVS® Honors List. We're thrilled to celebrate Dustin Stewart at Ivy Tech Community College Madison on the 2026 EdSights SVS® Honors List. When a student affairs leader says recognition matters because it's rooted in direct student feedback, that's a reminder of what actually drives change in higher ed. Not surveys. Not assumptions. Student voice. That's where institutions thrive. Check out the full SVS Report and the complete 2026 Honors List → → https://lnkd.in/gH3QcP9R

  • In this year's SVS Report (launched today!) we are celebrating 51 institutions that showed the highest student satisfaction scores across their respective institutional sectors. 👏 This inaugural class of the SVS Honors List is filled with incredible programs that are truly leading the way in student satisfaction. And as John K. Hall, Ed.D of Somerset Community College shared, "While there are many rankings out there, this one is especially meaningful because it is based entirely on direct feedback from our students. That is something truly worth celebrating." Congratulations to all the honorees! 🎉 🏆 Check out the full report here: https://lnkd.in/gH3QcP9R

Listening to our students is at the heart of what we do, and we're excited to hear such positive feedback! EdSights conducts an annual survey of higher ed students across the country to assess their satisfaction, and this year, Grace Christian University’s Student Voice Score is among the top 20% of all 4-Year Privates! You can download it here: https://lnkd.in/gH3QcP9R The headline: Despite 2026 being filled with challenges and uncertainty for higher ed administrators, if you ask students directly, they'll tell you a different story. Since 2024, student satisfaction has risen every year, and that trend holds across all three institutional sectors. Read the full report to learn: 📣 What drives satisfaction for 4-Year Private, 4-Year Public, and 2-Year Public institutions, with direct quotes from students explaining their ratings 📊 Trends in satisfaction across sector, enrollment size, and student population 🏆 Which institutions rise to the top of their sector when it comes to student satisfaction (congratulations to the inaugural SVS Honors List!) Happy reading!

    • Higher ed student satisfaction is on the rise. SVS has risen for the past 3 years, across all sectors (4-year private, 4-year public, and 2-year public).
  • We're honored to partner with Northern Illinois University! Great article about how they're using AI thoughtfully to better the student experience & drive notable increases in student retention. "Mission AI has contributed to positive outcomes at NIU. Students who interacted with this service have returned for the next semester at a much higher rate than students who did not engage – approximately 75 percent, compared with approximately 65 percent for non-users." • Every year, EdSights measures higher ed student satisfaction through our Student Voice Score benchmark. SVS asks students "On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend your institution to a friend?", then subtracts the percentage of Detractors (0-6) from Promoters (9-10). Very similar to a Net Promoter Score! We're releasing the SVS benchmarks NEXT WEDNESDAY! Before we reveal the data, how do you think student satisfaction has changed from last year to this year? 🤔 💡

  • Care teams don't need to be large to move quickly and efficiently. Tom Nesbitt from Clinton Community College knows this well. That's why weekly meetings at Clinton look different: staff aren't just implementing decisions, they're making them. When a small team walks through each process together, and everyone has a voice in big decisions, priorities can shift as needs do. But the rigor stays. That collective collaboration is what creates lasting change for students.

Today, I had the privilege of watching two outstanding members of the Mountwest Community & Technical College Student Services team present at the WV Success Summit. Allison Flanagan showcased the incredible work of our Care Center, highlighting how it is removing barriers for students, centralizing and enhancing support services, and expanding resources through meaningful community partnerships. Her presentation reflected our commitment to ensuring students have the support they need to succeed. Katie Bentley, MBA shared how our partnership with EdSights is leveraging AI to enhance enrollment, retention, student success, and the overall student experience. It was exciting to see how innovative technology is helping us better connect with and support our students. I couldn’t be prouder of these two exceptional leaders. Their passion, expertise, and dedication are making a real impact—not only at Mountwest but across higher education. Great things are happening at Mountwest, and our students remain at the center of every decision we make. I am incredibly grateful to work alongside such talented professionals who are committed to transforming the student experience.
