We are proud to announce that Bobby (Rajeev) Modi, Elanco Executive Vice President, U.S. Pet Health, has been elected to the Animal Health Institute’s (AHI) newly reestablished Executive Committee. AHI represents the innovators behind animal medicines—an industry that supports the health of nearly 10 billion pets and livestock in the U.S. alone. Beyond animal care, our industry serves as a cornerstone of global public health and economic stability. From ensuring a safe and sustainable protein supply to protecting the vital bond between people and their pets, the relevance of animal health has never been more critical. As a Board member, Bobby will support AHI's work to advocate for efficient, science-based pathways that accelerate the delivery of new solutions to the market. By modernizing these regulatory frameworks, we can ensure veterinarians, farmers and pet owners have faster access to the medicines and technologies needed to support long, healthy lives for the animals we love. We look forward to the efforts to advance much needed progress.

When it comes to killing ticks, speed matters. New data published in Parasites & Vectors shows that Credelio Quattro™ kills black-legged ticks within just 8 hours(1)—significantly faster(2) than leading competitors. The active ingredient lotilaner in Credelio Quattro also kills lone star ticks within 12 hours of infestation, the fastest(3) initial speed of tick kill compared to competitors(4). Lyme disease transmission typically occurs 24-48 hours after attachment(1). A rapid and consistent speed of kill is the critical factor in pet protection. While other products show a decline in performance by the end of the month, lotilaner maintains its 8-hour speed of kill through Day 28(2).
