More people may soon be able to get the obesity treatment they need. Beginning July 1, eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries may be able to get certain obesity medicines for weight management through Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. This marks an important step toward real choice in obesity care, helping more patients and doctors have informed conversations about the treatment options that may be right for them. Three Phase 3 trials. One consistent story. Today, we presented results from ACHIEVE-2, ACHIEVE-3, and ACHIEVE-5 — three studies evaluating our once-daily oral GLP-1 in adults with type 2 diabetes — at the #ADA2026 Scientific Sessions. Across all three studies, our medicine outperformed on blood sugar control and weight loss in this investigational use. We plan to submit to the U.S. FDA for type 2 diabetes by end of Q2 under the Commissioner's National Priority Review Voucher. The ACHIEVE program is establishing a compelling profile that could position our oral GLP-1 as a potential foundational treatment option. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e6sKG9Ct
