Last week, founders, investors, board members, advisors, partners, Endeavor entrepreneurs and entrepreneur candidates from across the region gathered in Louisville for the Endeavor Southeast Regional Gathering 2026. Over 36 hours, we convened the people building companies, deploying capital, opening doors, and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem across the Southeast. Through the Entrepreneur Congress, board discussions, Founder & Funder conversations, and shared experiences throughout Louisville, one thing became clear: Strong companies are built by strong founders. Strong ecosystems are built by strong communities. This year's theme, The Run for Legacy, reflected the mindset that defines this network: builders committed to creating lasting impact, investing in others, and helping the next generation of entrepreneurs scale further and faster. The conversations were meaningful. The relationships grew stronger. And the momentum continues. Thank you to everyone who shared their time, experience, and leadership with this community. Today, we're proud to celebrate an important milestone for Endeavor Southeast as Julia Regan, MBA assumes the role of Board Chair, succeeding Matt Thornton after years of dedicated leadership and service. Matt helped guide Endeavor Southeast through a period of significant growth, strengthening the network, expanding our reach, and positioning the organization as a platform for founders building high-impact companies across the region. His leadership helped lay the foundation we continue to build on today. Julia represents what that foundation makes possible. As a founder, Endeavor Entrepreneur, and successful operator, she has experienced firsthand what it means to build, scale, create jobs, navigate growth, and ultimately give back to the community that supported her journey. That matters. Because the strongest entrepreneurial ecosystems aren't built by institutions alone. They're built by founders who succeed, reinvest, lead, and help create opportunities for the next generation. This moment reflects both where we've been and where we're going. An Endeavor Entrepreneur completed their Endeavor journey last week: Julia Regan, MBA was elected as the Board Chair of Endeavor Southeast, going full circle from founder, to exit, and now serving as our Board Chair - committed to helping more founders to scale, exit, and reinvest in our communities. “Endeavor Southeast has played a meaningful role in my journey as a founder, and it’s an honor to step into this role at such an important moment for the organization. I’m excited to help continue strengthening that community and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs scaling from the Southeast to the world," shared Regan in Louisville Business First Julia was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur back in 2022, just as RxLightning was beginning to scale super fast. Just three years later, CoverMyMeds acquired RxLightning to help more people quickly access life-saving specialty medications. She's taking over as Board Chair from another incredible entrepreneur: Matt Thornton. Matt was an exception Chair, leading our organization through several transitions and growth phases. Personally, I am grateful to have learned from Matt's leadership - he was actively engaged with our team and portfolio in a way that has set a high standard for how we operate and leverage our board. Congratulations Julia, and a massive thank you for your commitment to serving other high-growth founders in the future - and to Matt for your leadership and involvement over the past few years (and for continuing your service on our board going forward!) Returning home after an amazing trip to Kansas City, serving as a panelist on Endeavorʼs National Selection Panel. I’ve been connected with Endeavor for well over a decade (shout out to Jackson Andrews for getting me introduced so many moons ago); this was my first tour as an NSP judge. Endeavor is a global organization focused on building thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging and underserved markets around the world. Launched in 1997, it has established a presence in more than 46 countries across Latin America, Asia, Africa, Middle East, and underserved areas of Europe and the United States. It’s really inspiring! Yesterday, my co-panelists and I spent the day interviewing #entrepreneurs from across the US, ultimately making the (difficult) decisions of selecting those candidates who would advance into the Endeavor US National Program. It was such an impressive group! Part of the reason that I spend so much time with organizations like Endeavor, and platforms like Techstars and Embarc Collective, is that they attract extraordinary #founders who not only tackle hard problems, but are also committed to collaboration, cooperation, and community engagement. It’s a rare and special breed, and it’s always a privilege to do my little bit to help. The NSP floats about the US, and #KansasCity was this year’s locale (last year was Detroit; next year is Miami). The hype here for the World Cup is a real thing 🏆, and the city is showing up! The new airport sparkles ✈️, and dinner last night was held at the CPKC Stadium - the first stadium purpose-built exclusively for a professional women’s soccer team (the Kansas City Current of the National Woman’s Soccer League ⚽️). Hence the cool jersey swag pictured! Nice that the number matches my age 😎 Thank you Jake Budler for getting me wired in this year, thanks to the rest of the Endeavor team and my fellow panelists for making it such a fun couple days, and thanks most of all to the participating entrepreneurs for all you do! #DWProf

A 747. ✈️ A full moon. And a room full of people building what's next. A couple of days ago in Atlanta, we re-launched the Atlanta chapter of Endeavor Southeast, and the energy in the room said it all. Conversations that mattered. Connections that will continue. People showing up with intention. Because at the end of the day, it's not about the event — it's about what comes after. This is how we build. This is how we grow. This is how the Southeast takes flight.
