Protecting wildlife while delivering complex environmental projects is a responsibility we take seriously. At this coal-fired generating station, ENTACT managed more than 315,000 cubic yards of CCR as part of a pond closure and repurposing project, while carefully coordinating work to minimize disturbances to a nearby Least Tern habitat. By balancing environmental stewardship with project execution, our team helped reduce environmental risk, support long-term site goals, and prepare the site for future use. Because ENTACT self-performs more than 90 percent of our work, our teams can respond quickly and maintain greater control over quality, safety, and project execution. Our soil mixing and ground stabilization solutions strengthen weak soil conditions, improve long-term site performance, and help keep projects on schedule. What was once an area of concern in Eatonville, Washington, is now a stabilized and restored site that supports the community around it. Watch the project timelapse video and read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/gZ_hhis4 Steep slopes and unstable ground created significant remediation challenges, so the team excavated 60,000 cubic yards of impacted material and constructed a 30-foot soil nail wall. Together, we transformed a former landfill into a safer, more sustainable landscape for the community.
