That's why we're proud to congratulate Ashlynn S. and Rylie S., both daughters of Ferrellgas employee-owners, on earning scholarships from the National Propane Gas Foundation Scholarship Fund. The fund supports the children of employees at National Propane Gas Association member companies pursuing full-time education at colleges and technical programs across the country. Ashlynn, daughter of Customer Service Professional Dana S., is entering her senior year at Radford University, where she's pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Rylie, daughter of District Manager Doug S., is entering her final year at Illinois State University, studying Environmental Science and Conservation Biology. Community has always been at the heart of Ferrellgas, and it's made even stronger by people like former team member Kim T., who recently stopped by to paint a patriotic window mural at our Negaunee, Michigan, location in honor of America's 250th birthday. Kim's passion for painting began years ago after watching a grocery store manager decorate store windows for the holidays. After practicing on her own, she brought that creativity to Ferrellgas, where General Manager Doug H. and Customer Service Manager Lori L. gave her the opportunity to paint the windows at our Negaunee office. "Everything took off from there, and I couldn't be happier," Kim shared. Ferrellgas was honored to support the Charlie “Rooster” Trujillo Memorial Golf Classic. The event was presented by the RoosTRU, Inc. Foundation, which was started 17 years ago by Ferrellgas Logistics Supervisor Denise T., along with her brother and mother, in memory of her father, Charlie “Rooster” Trujillo. Rooster believed strongly in education, and the foundation’s goal is to support graduating seniors as they begin the next chapter of their academic journey. What began as a local effort has grown to reach high schools across New Mexico, thanks to support from sponsors like Ferrellgas and a strong community of golfers. Ferrellgas was proud to have Kelly S., External Affairs Partner, and Raudel A., Director of Operations, attend this year's Southeast Propane Alliance (SEPA) Summer Convention. As Raudel shared, "The SEPA Summer Convention brought together propane marketers from across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to exchange market insights, work through shared industry challenges, and hear the national outlook from PERC President Tucker Perkins and NPGA's Steve Kaminski." For Kelly, the experience was both rewarding and inspiring: "My first SEPA Summer Convention exceeded my expectations.
